Jane Carter Solution Twist Out Foam (8oz) - Nourishing, Smoothing, No Buildup

I think my hair is 3c/4a shoulder length-when-curly, and the texture is on the finer side. I apply this foam after a wash & go. I will section my hair after a wash and saturate the sections with this to get them to clump together. Depending on the time I have in the AM, I will even do quick-twists with this product, meaning I put the sections into cigar-sized twists for about 45 mins to an hour, let it dry using the car heater or windows down, & then take it out when I get close to work. ( I do not wait for my twists to get completely dry before taking them out - yes, I know I am breaking the cardinal rule of twist-outs, but this allows my fine hair to expand and creates more volume.)This gives beautiful curls & definition.I also use it to refresh sections of my hair from its completely dry state. Regardless of how I apply the product, I always get shiny, bouncy results.I do not like crunchy hair; that's why I love this. The wet chunks always morph into voluminous curls. If you need a heavy hold, you probably need to combine with another product (it says this in the instructions).I have tried several different foaming products by boutique and big name brands, this has given the most natural looking results (your hair doesn't look like it is coated in plastic).Bonus: The smell is soft and feminine.

I love this stuff! I have super thick, 4C hair, btw. Very lightweight, smells fabulous and offers great hold without 'crunch'. Will be repurchasing!

Worked amazing. I will say, be careful with the bottle because it came a loose and spilled in my luggage. So if you are traveling with it place it in a large ziplock bag. But the product itself worked awesome!

I really like this product for my loc maintenance. Just started using and I love how it leaves my hair shiny and moisturized. Other products left my hair extra flaky and dry. Jane twist out foam doesn’t leave flakes or cause any issues in my hair. The smell has a lemony citrus scent to me. Will definitely be buying again.

I washed my hair, added a leave-in conditioner and oil, and then applied this on top before twisting. I found that this smells great and provides good hold but my hair was left dry and slightly frizzy. I'm going to have to experiment and find out how to best use this without the dryness and frizziness. Until I find something that works, I won't be purchasing this again.

I've been searching for a cheaper, more abundant and better-smelling substitute for Paul Mitchell's Foaming Pomade for my 4c curly hair, and this is it! I use it as a slickening agent for twist out and finger coil styles, and it does the job.If you're looking for something to make your hair slippery to reduce friction between your fingers and hair, speeding up styling time, this is it. It doesn't take much to foam my entire head, just a few pumps. Honestly, this bottle will probably last me a few years.As an added bonus, it leaves my hair soft to the touch with a pleasant lemony scent, without becoming sticky or leaving any visible residue.

Nice product. Got the job done. I hate that it has a strong perfume smell, but other then that my twist out was perfect.
