Toner like all ink going into your printer needs to be of a quality that will not harm your gear, and that gives accurate output. This toner replacement does just that. Each and every print comes out just the way I intend it to. I'm thoroughly happy with the performance of these tones units. I've been ordering these for a few years now, and have had zero problems with any of the replacements. Buy these units with confidence that you're getting what you pay for. Good value for the money
I have an older printer/copier and have difficulty finding ink cartridges' for it. I could find knock-offs, but not a direct replacement. Once I plugged the number into the Amazon site I found exactly what I was looking for. It installed perfectly and had plenty of ink.

Great quality, but pricey and short shelf-life
TL;DR Recommended, but take care of it and expect to replace it sooner than you think with heavier use. 5 Quality stars. Colors are vivid, whether printing at standard resolution on plain paper or high-res on glossy photo paper. 4 Value stars. There are far cheaper cartridges but in my experience they produce inferior results. 3 Longevity stars. With heavy use, the ink runs out more quickly than it does in other printers I've owned. With light use, if you forget to print at least one test sheet per year, the ink will clot up and the cartridge will be useless.

Use these all the time always by name brand the off-brand refills leak and make a mess
Use these all the time be sure not to buy anything but name brand Canon do not try the refills they tend to leak and gum up your printer.

While the black one and others worked well so far, the color cartridge run out of ink unusually early this time. Maybe just a one time weakness

This is a really nice cartridge. Really easy to install into our printer, and is very high quality. If you are not printing very often, this can last a very long time. But if you are printing regularly/every day I would invest into maybe a different printer because it can get expensive after a while.
