This cage will stop my young puppy eating the post. The gold finish looks good against a natural oak door.

Saves the posties fingers
Had to buy this to stop my vicious guard dog (Bichon Friese) from ripping my posties fingers off. Catches the mail and parcels good and saves a lawsuit or torn up mail. Easy fitted with screws on a upvc door.

Perfect for anyone with difficulty bending

Does the job.
Easy to install though the tabs seemed flimsy. Care and precision fitting are key. We fitted a support bar to fix the bottom tabs to due to a bevel on the double glazed door. This kept the cage sturdy and took the strain off the top two tabs.

Good product for the money.
Although good value it would be better if brass screws to match box were supplied rather than steel. For a best finish brass is better.

Saves me bending to pick letters up

Great for letters. Not so much for Amazon parcels.
I do love the look of this product and it does an excellent job of catching letters and junk mail.HOWEVER. Bit of a downer. When the mailman posted a standard letter sized cardboard Amazon parcel though it, because the parcels are rigid - they don't fit.But the mailman was determined to MAKE it fit and tore the whole basket off the door shoving it in.I think your paper eBay style soft parcels would be fine.I've reattached and left it up for now. But I may end up needing a note above the mailbox asking for parcels to be put in the porch.Either way. The basket itself is well made, looks great. Has holes for you to drill it to a wooden door. Or you can attach it to UVPC and glass with small 3M hooks like I did.If I do end up having to retire it due to heavy handed posties, it would be a real shame because it looks and works fab.
