It’s a good fit around the stomach for a larger man.

This quilted coat is exactly what I have been looking for. Lightweight, comfortable , And does a dandy job of protection from the cold and wind, it almost does too good of a job, meaning that it’s almost too warm. If that makes sense. It’s a nice fit, too. I ordered one size up from what I wear in a shirt size, but could have ordered a size lower, same as shirt size and am confident the fit would have been good also, probably a tad tighter in the shoulders. But I have big shoulders and I can raise my arms comfortably with zero binding effect. I would not be afraid to take this coat anywhere on the planet. The feel of the coat? well, it feels similar to a weighted blanket, without all the heaviness is the best I can describe it.

The jacket came quickly and was packaged well. Size and Fit was as ordered. The exterior of the Jacket is a bit stiff similar to a Carhartt cold weather work jacket, but the lined inside is very soft. There is one deep cell phone interior chest pocket with a Velcro closure, and two good sized hip / side pockets without zippers. This is my own personal point off, the side pockets should have zippers, or at least interior Velcro closures. I would rate this a definite 5 of 5 if it had zippered pockets. This is a solid buy and great value.

Purchased for my son. He said it kept him warm and dry (just wore it thru the deep freeze we "enjoyed" in the Chicago area for over two weeks) and although the hood is overly big he wasn't bothered by it because he could slip it easily over his hat for work. I would not call this a "lightweight" jacket. It has some substantial weight to it. My son is 6' 3" and weighs about 180 lbs. He wanted a 2XL because he prefers to wear his jackets/hoodies oversized. I think a size XL might be more appropriate if you are his size and don't like your jackets baggy. It is wide on him but the jacket length is acceptable and the sleeve length is good as he has long arms. It was pretty stiff when we got it but I washed it first and it seemed to help. The exterior material is not soft to begin with so nothing will change that, but the jacket did become less stiff.

I wore the coat to shovel snow and it was warm and comfortable.The only thingh to be careful about is the size. I got an XL and it turned out to be a bit small. I returned the XL (no problem on the return) and ordered the XXL - it fit perfectly. Almost all of my other jackets and shirts are XL and fit very much like the XXL. It is made in China. I had previous experience with Chinese manufactured jackets. I should have ordered the XXL in the first place. I just forgot about the previous experience. So be careful.

Durable. Nice fit. Keeps me warm.

Hood not right. Return policy is bad too. Wear all tags when you try it out. Keep all package material. In addition to it not being "thermal" or "freeze proof," it is not even warm compared to all other winter coats I've had. And the hanging hook broke due to poor material. Don't waste your money.
