Good, suitable for chocolate making and cacao ceremony. Heart Opener. Also can nibble.
These buttons are actually already tempered - we (you and i) can use these as a starter/temper base to mix into chocolate while its cooling from , for example if making dark chocolate, ~42-45ºC , mix it in to cause the crystals to form without having to cool it back down to 27ºC and vibrate it then bring the temp back up. just pop one or two of these in (i chop/break/crumble them first) to some already melted and cooling cacao butter (or liquor) and vibrate it in your usual method (with a chocolate spatula or so, however you like, I've even used a miniature balloon whisk) then you can either pour that once it reaches temperate (33 ish ºC) or add your cacao powder and pour it - depending on your method. the point being they're already with the 'correct' (snappy-smooth chocolate, the satisfying snap when you bite or snap it with fingers etc) crystalsYou can of course just directly melt and use these to make your own chocolate from JUST these buttons, melt them add your sweetener(s) and flavours and pour when at temperature (i'd temper once these are melted, and cooling, with one or two broken up unmelted buttons, to get the crystals forming after you've melted these, and then add your flavours/sweetener in - but that's just how i've done it successfully :)) and then pour into your chocolate mould(s) or over (n)ice cream )Frozen bananas, blended with a little milk or a delicious dairy-free alternative) - the chocolate actually hardens on the ice creams, giving you a lattice like effect if you drizzle it over, and snaps/bends deliciously when you put your spoon in :)Or, after all that, just eat them straight, they're bitter, and powerful (strong, read up on the effects of raw cacao :D Ceremonial cacao, even)There's a Rating for "Warmth" here, i gave it five stars because, it is heart opening, and warming - it can increase blood circulation apparently - and anecdotally too :PGet yourself some of these nice chocolate buttons, cheers! I still have plenty left, surprisingly! :PPS: If i was on the buy page again, i'd buy them again! Good Quality.

Good For Diabetics.
I bought these to get chocolate biscuits back because I'm diabetic. It works. You just temper and add Erythritol. The granulated version slightly changed the smoothness of the melted chocolate, but my biscuits were perfectly edible. Erythritol doesn't seem to dissolve as well as sugar. I'm happy. I have powdered Erythritol and will try it next time. Too bitter to eat on their own, but perfectly useable sweetened with artificial sugar. My only quibble is the cost, but then if you're diabetic you don't have much choice. I'll try to lighten it with a little bit of cream or milk next time to see if I can recreate milk chocolate, but I'm expecting the cream to curdle.

good quality for the price
to me this seems just as good as fancy "ceremonial cacao". Sure, it's probably not harvested and prayed over by native peoples, but for regular drinking chocolate it does the trick.it doesn't taste like candy, it's unsweetened chocolate so you'll need to doctor it to your liking.

Fabulous cooking chocolate
I stopped eating sugar and these are perfect for baking, great size of bag for value, they melt easily and I’ve made my famous sweet potato brownies with them and it’s perfect!

Unexpectedly coffee-like
I initially wasn't too keen on the taste (like everyone else said extremely bitter).I would describe the taste as:1) dry (if you're eating them as is, you might want a drink of water with them)2) they have a coffee-like bitterness to them - you can get the chocolate taste after a while, but they have a very coffee-like taste the start with, read somewhere that you don't really chew them, and just let them melt in your mouth slightly.3) Initially very bitter (as i said, coffee-like) - they taste more like coffee beans rather than the instant coffee, for the coffee comparisonSo far I have eaten these buttons on their own and in american style chocolate pudding (makes a very rich dessert, very tasty if you like dark chocolate)I'm not sure how well they melt in comparison to other types of chocolate (while i am a fan of using chocolate in baked/cooked goods i am still a beginner and not actually that familiar with melting chocolate). The packaging of the product is good, but uh, it's very reminiscent of a dry cat food/dog food bag, so, if you have pets that have food bags that look similar and they are known to attack the food bags, make sure to keep the bag out of reach - also the plastic seal to keep the bag shut can break off slightly resulting in you needing to fold the bag over to prevent air getting in.

Average flavour
These chocolate buttons are quite bitter in taste, great for use in cheese cakes, cakes not so good for use when making nut clusters, cookies.
