What kind of soft tape should be used to keep the cushions from popping off?

I use cloth based medical, or paper based medical tape, however scotch tape around both ends also does the trick. Any tape used just around the ends will work except masking or duct tape, don't use those two they get oily and dirty and disintinigrate quite rapidly. You should change the tape about every two weeks, it't a bothersome job but it makes the ear protectors last quite a bit longer. Good luck and happy tape changing.
