I purchased an off-brand set of ink cartridges that fit my HP printer. They worked for one or two sheets. After that, print quality was horrible and inconsistent. Half the time the colors wouldn't work. Tossed them and went back to HP branded cartridges and print quality was restored. I won't ever use non-HP branded cartridges again.

Always works best with my HP printer.

This is a repeat purchase of much used ink cartridges. I won't use anything but OEM ink in my printer.

All I can say is that I have simply never had a problem with genuine HP ink. No damaged cartridges. No leaks. No streaks. No drying out.I've been tempted to try the off brands to save money, but from what I can tell, it's a crap shoot as to whether you'll get a high quality cartridge, with high quality ink, that won't give you problems at some point. I'd rather stick with what has always worked reliably for me.The XL cartridges do last a long time too. . I have 3 HP printers in my home network (one for each floor so we're not having to run upstairs or downstairs to print), and I keep a stash of ink cartridges so I never run out. Works for me.

Good quality print, decent capacity. Expensive but worth it in the long haul. Cut rate refills just don’t seem to work right.

We have an older HP printer. It has been a wonderful machine. But now it is getting old enough that some places no longer carry the ink for it. I was so very pleased that Amazon has them. I have ordered a few from Amazon and they have all worked well. I guess my only complaint is how expensive they are. I really don't want to purchase another printer because this one feels like family we have had it so long but I print a lot of cross stitch and crochet patterns and just cannot afford the ink much longer. Wish HP would make the cartridges more affordable for the amount they print so I could keep my wonderful HP printer longer. But the cartridges do print in beautiful color. Love them
