These gloves are great for what I needed them for. They feel very durable and well made, especially for the price. Fit-wise, I’m a 6ft male with fairly large hands and they fit me fine. I can see how someone with smaller hands might find them a bit big, but they’re designed for log burner and stove use rather than a snug “winter walk” glove, so the sizing makes sense. On heat resistance, I agree with other reviewers that it isn’t amazing. They’re not fireproof and you can’t hold onto something really hot for long. That said, for normal log burner tasks like opening the stove, putting logs in, and a bit of stoking, they’re absolutely fine and do the job well. Overall, they’re exactly what I was looking for, just go in with the right expectations on heat resistance.

I own a Maybury Leaf multi-fuel stove that I run pretty much daily through autumn and winter. I’ve gone through several pairs of “heat-resistant” gloves over the years (cheap ones from B&Q, some supposed welding gloves, even a pair of expensive branded log-burner gloves) and these Cosystove ones are easily the toughest and most practical. Thick, genuine leather that laughs at red-hot logs and coals – I can grab a glowing piece straight off the fire to reposition it without feeling a thing. Gauntlet cuffs protect my wrists when I’m reaching right in to rake the ash bed or load big logs Still flexible enough to get a proper grip on kindling, the riddling tool or the door handle. After two months of constant use they’re barely showing any wear – no splitting, no burned patches, stitching still perfect. At around £12-13 they’re half the price of the “big name” stove gloves I’ve bought before, yet twice as good. If you’ve got a wood burner or multi-fuel stove and you’re fed up of gloves that fall apart in a few weeks or stick to the burner, just get these. Brilliant.

It is made for a man. That is my only conclusion. Humongous, is the word.

Most comfortable to wear. Certainly heatproof. Ideal in the kitchen for picking up the hot plates.

Good gloves, obviously not fireproof as you wouldn’t hold anything for long with them but great for the wee camping stove I got off here also. Tested both out today in the local forest before going camping, both worked as expected and done their jobs. Definitely made life easier moving the stove and emptying it to pack up.

Not the best idea!! My vet rcomended them for my cat!!! ( has a habit of biting!!)

Jolis gants qui convient pour manipuler les bûches et protège bien de la chaleur de la cheminée. La taille est un peu grande mais ça passe !
