Q: What weight is this iron please?

According to my digital kitchen scales, my Braun TexStyle7 iron weighs 2lbs 15oz for the iron alone, or 3lbs 6oz inc. flex and plug. Don't know if this model is the same as TS755.

Definately Not. It says ONLY USE TAP WATER. Fantastic Iron needs to be cleaned regularly by twisting the knob at the top of the iron. Also, Once a Month take out the Descaler BUT IT SAYS DO NOT TOUCH IT. Never leave water in it and always make sure you do the iron clean by just holding the iron over the sink horizontally so that it can spray out any build up of dirt or particles in the water. aN eXCELLENT iRON I MAKE IT SOUND HARD WORK TO MAINTAIN IT BUT IT IS NOT. I love my Iron and when I bought it I though I was mad paying all that money for an Iron. But Irons beautifully without too much effort. The other little bit of advice I would give you is that in Homebase or likewise they do a Thick UnderCloth for under your Cover and because it is so thick instead of the steam going right through it virtually irons the garment from the underside as well. I did go to a lot of trouble to set myself up properly when I bought the Iron but it was well worth it.I would Recommend this Iron to everyone. Even those who do not like Ironing because it makes Ironing fun, not time-consuming and fast but with excellent results. Hope that this answers your question. They also said not to use Rain Water either. If there is anything else you would like to know about the Iron please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yes. I quote from the instructions: "The red auto-off light will flash when the automatic shut-off is activated. This happens when the iron has rested: -horizontally on its sole plate for about 30 seconds - or, vertically on its heel rest for about 8 minutes. To turn on the iron again, just move it."
