Simple, Reliable, and Works Perfectly!
The PORTHOLIC Wii to HDMI Converter was exactly what I needed to get my old Wii connected to my modern TV. Setup couldn't have been easier — just plug it into the Wii, hook up an HDMI cable, and you're good to go. The picture looks clean and sharp, and it handles all the Wii’s display modes without any issues. I also appreciate the 3.5mm audio jack, which gives you extra flexibility if you want to connect headphones or external speakers.I was really happy with how reliable this adapter has been — no lag, no weird resolution problems, just smooth gameplay from start to finish. It's a great, affordable solution to keep enjoying the Wii on newer TVs without the hassle. Definitely deserves five stars!

Works Great – Quick Setup & Clear Picture!
This PORTHOLIC Wii to HDMI converter was exactly what I needed to bring my old Wii back to life on a modern TV. Plug-and-play with zero hassle—just connect it and go. The video quality is noticeably sharper than the original RCA cables, and there’s no lag during gameplay. Bonus: the 3.5mm audio out is perfect for connecting headphones or speakers. Great little device for anyone wanting to enjoy their Wii on newer TVs!

Easy HDMI converter
Worked right out of the box. Plugged it into a CRT and the display was a bit wonky but functioned, so maybe not compatible for some models of TVs. Had no issues with connecting it to other displays.

Hey, not bad!
Plug and play and works pretty darn well. Be sure to go into the settings and switch the picture to 480p for a slightly better boost in picture quality too. And the picture quality in general is really pretty good, especially good for the price! For comparison, I bought a $24 N64 HDMI adapter at the same time as this one, and the picture from this is leaps and bounds better than it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone hoping to play their wii on an HDTV.

Works for using the 480p setting on Wii, but HDMI audio clips
Seems to work well. One thing I had concerns about is whether it is actually using the component source pins on the Wii video connector which will determine whether or not 480p will be selectable in the settings. It does use component and 480p is selectable. Things look nice and sharp now. I do not see any signs of input latency or visual artifacts in the 10 minutes I tested it for. This likely doesn't have any video buffering for processing since that is what typically creates the input latency. This device is REALLY light, so I would suggest taking extra care to ensure no strain is being applied to this thing. It doesn't require additional power like some of the other similar devices. The audio is definitely distorted over HDMI. I have seen this on a ton of cheap HDMI video converters. The amp used during the digitization for HDMI is cranked to max so the audio clips. There is nothing you can do to stop the distortion without physical modification of the device if you are using the HDMI as your audio source. I have this going to an AVR and even setting source to several decibels lower at the preamp stage can't save the audio. Things like clicking the Wii menu button, that bright ding sound is distorted BAD. But there is hope. They did provide the 3.5mm analog jack and the sound coming out of it is not distorted. I have not pushed my ear up to the speaker so I'm not sure if any noise/hiss got added, but from my chair it all sounded good. I would love to toss it a 5 star just because it includes everything you need in the box including the HDMI cable (it isn't very long and is a bit thin, but worked fine for me) and appears to work well for a very good price. I just have to take a star off for the audio issue. It's an incompetent mistake that could have been solved with a single resistor that costs loss than 1 cent and makes the product so much worse as a result.

Works perfectly
Plug and play, this worked right out of the box. I’m using a projector at 144” the picture looks great for old school technology. Even the sound worked with no extra cables.
