Cut up
Great product, great price. I would buy again. Plumbing is a fantastic job, when you're a plumber. I'm not... job went well it just takes too long.

Simple and effective tubing cutter, recommended.
I purchased this device when I had a need to repair some pex pipes. In my case I had to cut a small piece of the pex away and then join the remaining pieces with a SharkBite coupler that I also purchased. This thing cuts through pex like butter - very simple and effective. I've also used it on some pvc and a corrugated plastic tubing as well and each time it worked like a charm. The only thing I'd mention here is I'm not sure how it would hold up to heavy use because I don't use it that often, only when I have some household repairs that need done every now and then. If that's how you'd be using it as well, then it is highly recommended. If I have any trouble with it down the road, I will update this review, but its been great so far.

Good on thin wall pvc even though they are pex cutters
I use it on thin wall pvc . Works good at work doing irrigation. I buy 1 for a weeks worth of work . Blade holds up and they are cheap enough for me to buy new ones .The blade lasts surprisingly good as long as you don’t cut wire

Easy to use but cuts are slightly angled
I bought this cutter to use with my HEX tubing and it is cuts easily and effortlessly. The problem is that it doesn't make an even cut and all my cuts come out slightly angled. If I push sideways on the blade as it cuts, the ends come out with less of an angle and my SharkBite fitting go on and give a tight seal. As other reviewers have said, it works and does the job, it's just not 100% perfect.

Top pick and I've tried hundreds!
I own an irrigation company and we do a lot of drip irrigation. When we started using this poly cutter a few years ago, every single one of my crew members abandoned the old other brand poly cutter they were using and begged me to only buy Apollo. It's all we use now. Every feature is perfect.

It's a basic tubing cutter
It's a tubing cutter not a whole lot to say. The blade is reversable. Not really heavy duty but then again I paid under $5 for it. I used it cutting PEX pipe and for that it worked fine. I don't think it would hold up to pvc pipe. I dinged it a star because when removing the blade the whole assembley flys apart, spring and all. I also dinged the seller a star because I have watched this thing double in price one day then drop the next and then go up again another day. I dont mind paying the cost but come on price adjusting every day seems a little much. In 7 days I got 7 e-mails from Amazon letting me know the price fluctuations. Just charge what you want and leave the price alone for at least a couple of days.
