GEDEO Air Drying Clay 1.5 kg , QPA301, Red

Nice clay to work with and isn't too prone to cracking while drying. I had a crack in a thin tile-shaped piece but this was easily fixed by wetting the clay either side of the crack and blending over it. Surprisingly the crack has not come back and is not a weak point, now it is dry it is bonded and hard. Once dry it is fairly robust - more so than with other air drying clays I have used (not polymer or paper clays or other modelling materials, but other air-drying clay-based clays). If you specifically want a clay that does not require firing then this is a brilliant product. There are other modelling materials referred to as 'clay' which are also available and are air drying, and some are good alternatives depending on what you intend on using them for. For an air drying clay that is actually clay I would recommend this.

My outer drain clay collar was broken whilst having roofing and rendering work done. I used this clay to pack out the holes and damaged. Just rolled in to large sausage shape and filled the voids. Used quick set mortar over the clay. Did the job perfectly.

Good clay, easy to manipulate. Can dry A bit quick while using it but easy to refresh with water.

I found this very soft to work with, easy to manipulate and adheres well as you add different bits to build up layers and details etc. Drying time was much longer than the DAS clays I have used, but finish is good, no cracks etc. Good product and I will use it again, when required.

I tried Das non firing clay before this one and I found it quite hard to work with. I thought I'd give Pebeo a try and it is really lovely to work with - it feels like play dough! Easy and almost non messy. I didn't have to wet my hands to work with it but I made small pieces only so not sure whether it would be as easy without water on a bigger project...I sped up the drying process in the dehydrator! Worked fine no cracks. Then some acrylic paint and looks lovely. My little boy plays with the little bowls I made using the clay, dropped them a few times on a hard floor and they survived!It can be made waterproof by using Pebeo Waterproofing Agent. I don't think this clay can/should be used for food storage.I would recommend it.

I use this to wrap around dinosaurs and allow the children to bash them open like they are on a fossil hunt and brushing the dry clay away.

Use this to make seed bombs and it works very well
