Yes it is a bit dry but... it is the king
The texture is perfect, but the bread is a hair dry. This is perfect on a sandwich like a cuban, or pulled pork, or really anything with a strong flavor. I couldn't tell it was 0 carb 0 sugar. I made a pb&j with sugar free jam and super low carb and low sugar pb. The result was interesting. The jam is less sweet than the powdered peanuts, so you need more jam than pb. The only thing that's rough is the price. At 14 dollars per loaf, it is prohibitively expensive. As for worth? If you are diabetic, this is it. No carbs. No sugar. 5g of protein. The only other thing you could make that could match this is egg-white bread, which as the name suggests is bread made almost solely from egg-whites. That is DEFINITELY the more cost effective option, but doesn't have a thick texture. For now, this is the king of the 0 carb 0 sugar breads. I think I'm going to make a grilled cheese with it and see how that comes out. If they can get the price down to 8 bucks a loaf, I would be buying this all the time, but at 14, it's a bit too expensive. The extra will go in the freezer until I need it.

Heroic, indeed!
If carbs were Thanos, this bread is Ironman!I'm so thankful that some heroic genius has unlocked the magic of carb free bread that finally tastes and toasts and cooks like it's evil carb loaded twin.Losing bread was one of the most difficult challenges of the low carb life, so this is a welcome game changer.Remember grabbing a soft fluffy slice of fresh, delicious white bread right from the Wonderbread bag? You can again, with no carbs. Sandwiches? You bet! Fresh made or grilled cheese, both are like eating "real" bread. No weird, oddly textured crumbly keto-ness either -- this has the texture and flavor of carbs, with no carbs!Toast with butter and carb free jam? Yes please! You'd nearly never know it is free of the carbs.I suspect keto French toast is entirely possible with this absolutely delicious new bread miracle.Price is insane, naturally, because it's healthy, and it's so sad that affordable food is deadly, but hey, that's 'Merica! But, it's worth it to avoid the diseases of the traditional 'Merican diet, so I'll pony up the dough for this outstanding bread. My highest recommendation! If you're on low carb, this is a huge help for maintaining the lifestyle without sacrificing the flavor, or favorite foods.Five stars all day, despite the high price!

Make sure you order directly from Hero.
I find this bread to be wonderful for a low-carb diet, and I love the taste. I have ordered this bread many many times and have been totally satisfied. But my latest order was not shipped directly from Hero and instead of quick 2-day delivery to my front porch, The USPS put it in my mailbox where it's sat for over 24 hours. Needless to say, I am furious. This bread does not come with preservatives. Make sure when you are ordering that it is coming directly from Hero bread.

No sugar no carbs and low calories
The Hero bread is good because my husband has diabetes and just cannot give up bread. With no sugar and no carbs this is perfect for him. As far as the taste it is ok but toasting it makes it feel and taste somewhat like a cracker. That being said, we like it enough to probably order again. The only issue—-it is expensive. I am glad we purchased it.

Best no carb bread ever!
Amazing. I was skeptical on the freshness, size, taste and texture. This bread is absolutely amazing! Tastes like bread, the texture is like soft bread, nothing weird or strange and the size is pretty normal in comparison to other breads. It’s so good and toasted really nice! The loaf is generous not a small bag of bread. It’s just perfect. I found my forever bread!

Ok bread, very expensive
I bought the Hero Classic White bread mostly driven by the 0g (or low) net carbs claim. I am not sure how the calculation is done, I suspect the fiber amount might be subtracted from the carb number? However, I am diabetic, and I monitor my sugar levels with a Libre 2 sensor. Given that the sugar profile impact may vary from individual to individual, the impact (on me) of a simple Hero sandwich with diet fruit jelly (0g of sugar, 3g carbs) is unfortunately comparable with other high fiber, low carb/sugar bread types that are ~1/2 of the price. Do not get me wrong. Hero bread is a reasonable product, and a fine tasting bread. I simply have an issue with cost versus net impact on my sugar levels. If it was cheaper, I would consider it on a weekly basis. I might even go the extra mile to pay the cost if it could deliver substantially better impact on my sugar profile. Unfortunately, I can have the same effect with nearly 1/2 the price with handpicked low carb, low sugar, high fiber supermarket brands. One more point. The Hero white bread comes with a sodium amount of 180g per slice. A regular sandwich (2 slices) comes at 360g of sodium with bread alone. Not bad in general terms, but for high blood pressure individuals, moderation is key.
