It works well, installed easily, and the price was right. The hole pattern appears to be standard and lined up well, so it was a quick install. It's nice looking and I like the rain cover. One suggestion is to include a butt connector, or a male and female quick disonnect, of the right size for the wiring. I had one fortunately, but they cost pennies and it would save a lot of people a trip to the hardware store if they don't have one (i.e. some kind of wiring connector to crimp on, to connect the jack to the trailer wiring) . The instructions are also somewhat pathetic. Specifically, it said that the annoying inline fuse is no longer needed -- which was fortunate because mine had rusted out, I would have needed to replace it, and I didn't have one! At the same time, the instructions claim that the fuse isn't needed because that this jack has a circuit breaker, an internal one of some kind, one is left to assume, and yet there is no apparent reset button on the unit that I could see, and the instructions don't say how you would reset the breaker if it tripped. I decided to just wire it to the system with a butt connector and it worked fine. I will take my chances; if it has a circuit breaker that trips and I can't figure out how to reset it to restore power by unscrewing the cover, there is always the option of using the manual crank arm I guess! So a 5, but definitely with suggestions.

Arrived a day early. Packed super well and in perfect condition. A very simple install on our 2014 Cougar trailer. Quiet and smooth. I'm super pleased with the addition of several extra mounting holes which allowed me to mount it sideways for much more tailgate clearance. Just be sure to grind or sand the paint away from the chosen mounting holes as it uses the trailer frame as the ground. The only downside was the length on the wiring. I use every bit of it. Another foot or two of wire length would be very helpful.

This jack is fantastic ! It arrived well packaged, appears to be excellant quality (better than others I have purchased), and was extremely easy to mount. It is somewhat slower than others I have had but it is extremely quiet and powerful. I would definetely purchase this jack again over others out there.

The jack works well and seems like it is built well except with a 3700 lb rating the jack shaft is much smaller diameter than the broken jack I was replacing at 3500 lb rating. This means that when the jack is extended it tends to wobble back and forth with the weight of the camper on it. Hopefully it holds up.

I converted a boat trailer into a utility/pressure wash trailer. I was nervous about ordering an electric jack for this trailer because all of the ones that I saw including this one only show jack being installed onto a standard A Frame trailer. Well.. boat trailers have a middle piece of steel that prevents a typical instal. I grabbed the 2 1/8" metal hole saw and started drilling. Since the jack is 2 separate pieces I was able to accomplish it. Pics shown.There is 1 boat trailer style electric jack on Amazon but it has terrible reviews, and is the style that bolts on to the outer facing beam. I wanted something more sturdy and this style jack (the normal style) worked great.Currently in the process of receiving another unit to swap out with the one I installed. It worked great for 1 day but then wouldn't work after that. It's as if there is an internal wire not connected all the way. I did not attempt to open the cover, I didn't want to risk voiding my return. Cool thing is that I was able to request a new one, which will be delivered in 48 hours. I didn't have to rush out to return the current before ordering the new. There was no charge for the new one as long as I return the non working unit within 2 weeks. This was a true benefit because I didn't have enough time to Uninstall old.Will update after new unit is installed. I'm pretty confident that this was a pretty simple fix but like I said above I didn't want to take a chance of them saying that I shouldn't have opened it. Stay tuned.

First one stopped working after 1 use, ordered replacement, the replacement wouldn’t work when connected to power from the first time. DO NOT BUY.

The jack on our travel trailer “froze up”. We had to have a jack right away to move our trailer. With no RV store close by, we turned to Amazon for product variety and quality. The new jack was easy to install, had all the features we wanted, looks great and well built well. Also, the price was right.

Install was a piece of cake, product works as advertised with zero issues! There's a slight amount of wobble when fully extended but I expect that of any of these. For the price this was a no brainer!

I own a 24' travel trailer,and we camp alot,every weekend were going somewhere. The trailer is heavy enough that jacking it up takes the wind out of me. Not anymore!,just press the button and up she goes! Was a very easy install to,and the LED light is a welcome bonus.

Easy setup replacing a manual crank on my new camper. Just be sure to make sure you sand a good amount of paint of the contact area to get a solid grounding.

Well I just received my rv hitch jack, easy to install and it comes with everything needed. I was delightfully happy when I operated it for the first time, it’s so quiet and powerful so far I’m very happy.
