9V Batteries Alkaline 9 Volt Battery 12 Pack Square Smoke Alarm Batteries, Long-Lasting 9V Battery for Smoke Detector, 10-Year Shelf Life

I had an un-opened package of 9 volt Duracell batteries. One night, one of my smoke detectors started chirping as the battery was apparently low. I pulled out the un-opened package of Duracells ( only purchased about 2 years ago) and the first battery had such a low charge that it also cause the smoke detector to chirp when inserted. These Duracells had a 10 year warranty clearly printed on the package but all the batteries were bad. I decided to purchase another brand on Amazon and selected these 9 volt batteries. They worked perfectly and were relatively inexpensive as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone! They are good batteries.

Just as described in the Amazon description. 10 year dated, and works perfectly so far. Best price I've found for 9v batteries with a long shelf life. Too soon to comment on how long battery will last, but they are working perfectly in my 5 smoke detectors. Happy with my purchase so far.

I was worried about not buying name brand batteries. I thought they would die significantly faster; however, that hasn't been the case. I haven't noticed a difference in the length of the battery. Good find.
