Live oaks work you have to rearrange the connection a little bit to get them to work but they look great

I have illuminated HVAC controls in my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 again. The LED bulbs were an exact replacement for the original burned out bulbs. Installation was relatively simple. Total time invested maybe 1 hour total. The dash HVAC control panel is really only held in place by three (3) screws and some spring clips. A quick search on Youtube provides the information necessary to remove the control panel and replace the bulbs.

LEDs are bright and work well. As noted in the listing and reviews/questions, the bulbs have polarity. However, there are no actual polarity markings on the old bulbs, these new bulbs, or the control box these are going into. I took the control box apart to look at the circuit board inside. No markings there either, but I noticed that the old bulbs had an indented dot on them on one side and the circuit board had the sides with the dots all connected. I assumed these to be the positive (+) connectors. I also noticed that the new bulbs have the HERCOO name on the stems lining up with specific connectors. I assumed these to be the positive (+) connectors as well. See photo. I installed the new bulbs with the names on the stems oriented the same way as the original indented dots. Everything lit up first time when I put it all back together. For my 2004 Dodge Dakota SLT, I only needed three of the four bulbs included in this kit. Hopefully, others will find this information helpful.

They work great in my 05 Ram 3500 climate controls! They dim a little bit when you use the factory dimmer, but they're still pretty bright at night. But that's how any LED replacement bulb will act.

Bulbs did not fit my dash cluster. They were to big and I was not going to force them into the slots.

Easy install and did not have to pay over $800.00 for a control unit. Is brighter than original bulbs.

I didn’t have to modify nothing managed to get them in the right way the first time hvac is so much brighter now it’s awesome

Works well in 2007 Ram climate control. Blue in colour. Brighter than the rest of the dash lights and does not dim at the same level. But would buy again.

You will need a flat head to turn them when they're in their "socket" but, they great. I do wish I got the matching blue ones, but I didn't want to wait.
