Reliable & Recommended by Vet
If you're a cat owner, you know just how quickly a flea problem can spiral out of control—and how important it is to have a fast, reliable solution at hand. That's where Bob Martin Clear Flea Tablets for Cats come into play. Designed for quick intervention, this over-the-counter treatment starts working in as little as 15 minutes and eliminates 100% of fleas within 24 hours. It’s a convenient, vet-approved remedy suitable for cats and small dogs under 11kg, offering immediate relief without the mess or drying time of spot-on treatments. In this review, we’ll break down its pros and cons, explore its effectiveness in real-world scenarios, and help you decide whether it deserves a place in your pet care toolkit.Pros:The Bob Martin Clear Flea Tablets for cats are an incredibly fast-acting and practical solution, especially when you need quick relief from a flea infestation. Recommended for both cats and small dogs between 1–11kg, these tablets begin working within just 15 minutes and are clinically proven to kill 100% of fleas within 24 hours—impressive for such a modestly priced treatment. It’s particularly useful for indoor-outdoor cats who may pick up fleas sporadically, or for owners who spot signs of irritation and need immediate action. The tablets are small and coated, making them easier to give directly or hide in food. With a three-tablet pack, you can treat multiple pets or provide coverage for a few months, depending on your routine. Compact and lightweight, they’re also easy to store in your pet care kit or travel bag. These tablets also make a great emergency backup if you run out of spot-on treatments. For the best results, they work brilliantly as part of a wider routine that includes home and bedding treatment.Cons:Despite their speed and effectiveness, these tablets do not provide long-term protection—there's no residual action, meaning they kill fleas present at the time but won’t prevent reinfestation. This makes them better suited as an emergency fix or part of a broader flea control strategy rather than a standalone monthly solution. Some pets may resist the taste, even in food, though this varies. It's also important to note they are not suitable for kittens under 1kg or very elderly or ill pets without consulting a vet first. And as with all flea treatments, treating the home environment is just as important—these tablets don’t address flea eggs or larvae in carpets and bedding.Quick, efficient, and affordable, Bob Martin’s Clear Flea Tablets offer excellent value and immediate results for tackling live flea issues. Ideal for short-term relief or combined with other treatments, they're a solid tool in any cat owner’s flea-fighting arsenal. Just don’t expect them to replace longer-acting spot-ons or environmental treatments entirely.

Seriously Impressed
Seriously Impressed!Within the first hour nine of the disgusting fleas were on my cats cream fleece blanket which she lays on. The colour of her fleece is a bonus because it has helped me see them. This has been the absolute worst year for fleas and getting shot of them. Two cans of Indorex spray and constant vacuuming every single day has done the job. These Bob Martin tablets have completed the extermination. Really glad I read the reviews on here as it helped massively with my decision to buy them. Will definitely buy again if needed in future. One thing I enjoyed immensely was picking up the half dead fleas and watching them drown in a sink of water - haha made my day after all the grief they have given us!

Seems ok
Appears to be doing a reasonable job. Id prefer I'd it wasn't in pill but in powder as it quit large my cats spat it out and it had to be crushed into food so not very convenient if your cats can't take pills. No smell and haven't noticed any side affects

Gobsmacked at the results.
I have 3 cats and 1 dog. I have had trouble with fleas for so long now it was getting me down. I have always used advantage or frontline. The big name expensive brands. However this year, nothing was working. Frontline, didn't work. Advantage, didn't work. I tried Effipro. Didn't work. I bought some flea traps, the ones with the sticky paper and light bulbs didn't catch one flea. I had bought Indorex and sprayed the whole house in crevices etc. Every day I would flea comb them and fleas where coming out. I even bought diatamaecous earth after reading that can help. inside all the usual hoovering constantly and washing bedding etc. You name it I tried it but I was still finding fleas. Now I'm not saying the above don't work They do work as I have used them in the past, but just this year, nothing. Didn't understand it. In all honesty, I have never even contemplated Beapher. I always thought no. It's a cheap brand. Can't be good. It's sold in supermarkets. No way will that work. I have NEVER contemplated buying this brand. Getting desperate though I noticed the amount of good reviews it had on Amazon, and for such a cheap price I thought I've got nothing to lose but was worried it may give my pet's side effects just because it's so cheap and not a "vet approved" brand type of thing. Gave them all one tablet each as the good thing is you can use it for cats and dogs unlike the expensive brands who make you buy separate cat treatment and dog treatment so costs even more. The next day, not expecting anything, flea comb spotless!! Not one flea in any of them. I though okay. Reviews had said it only kills fleas in the animal. Not eggs. So I flea combed every day just to check and now just over three weeks later, there are still zero fleas in flea comb!!! I am so shocked and estatic. This is the ONLY product that has worked this year. Every animal is different. Some can get reactions of certain treatments. Some treatments work for some and some don't. I can only say what my experience has been which is nothing short of amazing. Beapher will now be my go to for flea treatment and I never thought I would ever say that!

A waste of money.
Didn't really work. All over the counter remedies us older active ingredients that tiny critters have developed resistance to. Save your money and call your vet.

Best flea killer I've found!
Love Bob Martin stuff! I've tried a couple different brands which were OK but not great. After reading the reviews (and it was on sale) I thought I'd give it a go and both me and my dog are so glad! Bought the tablets and furniture spray and within a couple days the horrible little beasties were eradicated. One thing I have noticed is if you accidently miss a day during the course they won't be as effective and will only kill some of the fleas not all, but as long as they are taken in consecutive days they work fast and well.
