great for quick review
This type of question/answer book is exactly what I was looking for. As a rad onc resident, there have not been any similar books in the past. The format is exactly like previous Recall books I used as a med student. The only criticisms are that there are several errors. For instance, in the Wilms section is asks what subtypes of Wilms tumor exist, but list actually other types of renal tumor types that are not technically Wilms. There are other minor typos throughout, but for a first edition it's not bad. I used this to study for the in service exam this year, and I think was pretty high yield especially for more obscure topics like vulva, ovarian, etc. Can't wait for the 2nd edition!

very good for test review
used this to study for inservice and for oral exams. very thorough review and a nice complement to Roach book. Good thing is that it has a chapter on nearly anything you can think of (ie, hemangioblastoma, intraocular lymphoma, etc). Downside is descriptions of studies are not as concise/relevant as Roach.

You have to have it
This contains almost all of the ESSENTIAL BASIC information the resident is expected to know (up-to date as of the time of writing). Study it, and memorize it. There is a little bit of space on the pages to pencil in new trial/evidence info. A must-have.
