Good price. Wish there was a bronze color option.
A big issue with my X150 XKR is that it has a engine that loves to rev all the way to redline and an automatic transmission that was extremely responsive to manual gear changes; but the actual paddles for shifting are terrible and feel like something in an economy car. Gummy feel, very small size and pretty flexible if you don't grab them dead center. All in all much worse than the paddles on the Cadillac ATS I used to own. Later on Jaguar made aluminum ones for the F-Type and various Land Rovers as an option, but those are very expensive even used and are not illuminated like the original ones. These things bridge the gap very well. They don't look as nice as the factory aluminum ones, but they are much cheaper as well as a fair bit bigger than those. I saw the other reviews saying that the 3M-style adhesive was poor, but was surprised to see that each paddle had 4 holes for included set screws drilled into them. This is how I chose to mount them and they were easy enough to do. If you removed the paddles from the wheel itself (a single Torx screw holds them in) it would be basically idiot-proof. This does cause a bit of damage to the paddle inherently as it is a set screw pushing into plastic, but these paddles were used on a wide variety of cars and are very cheap online. After installing the mushiness and flexing feel of the original paddle was all but eliminated; and you can grab them in any spot and execute a shift without issue. The only real issue is that, on the XK at least, these paddles do give you a tight fit between the paddle and the stalks at times. My only suggestion would be to offer a bronze/copper color option. This was an option on the later F-Type and I think XF; and I had to paint my set of paddle extensions (using Metalcast copper and tail light tint paint) to try and match it.

Great paddles, terrible adhesive.
Deducting one star because the included adhesive straps are completely useless. Solid metal paddles, they look and feel amazing and make the car look a little sportier, but get some 3M adhesive strips to install, don't even try with the included crap.
