Good Replacement Option.
This hatch lid replaced a missing one on my kayak. The material is adequate and should hold up to the brutal sun in my area.What I dont love, is it requires lots of turns to secure versus a quarter turn. As such, you can't attached a string to it to keep from losing it while in the water. If I drill a hole on the lid, I'll lose the water resistency.All in all, it fit the holes of the OEM one I lost. Remember to silicone underneath the base flange.

Better than the older plastic used a few years ago. Exact size and fit expected for a 5” cover.

Replaced old cracked unit
Replaced cracked lid on kayak. Unscrew, clean, silicone, and screwed this one down. This unit does seam to be made out of a suffer type of plastic. May be stronger or more brittle. Only time will tell.

Actual size different than stated size.
Listing shows 5.98 inches for the measurement in my pictures that is 6.5". I drilled a 6" hole that the cover should fit it. The cover won't fit due to the inaccurate description. Don't purchase from this company.
