All good used to fix electric fan to 1957 Chevy radiator

The mounts could not hold any weight at all.The clips that zip on would just shoot off from the pressure from the spring.Completely useless. DO NOT BUY

I used this kit to fit a new Mishimoto fan to my radiator (The fan is excellent btw) but after about 50 miles, two of the retaining 'nuts' that push onto the spikes had fallen off leaving my fan flapping around on the two remaining spikes. Maybe it was user error but I'm sure it wasn't.I've ditched this method of fixing the fan now and made a metal bracket and bolted it on instead.

Plastic ribs are not sharp and tight enough to hold the bracket in place. Three out of four failed and came loose after first drive. I’m left without fixings and now it’s too late to return it or do anything about it. I’m not happy. I wouldn’t leave negative feedback if I could contact the seller and deal with this. Could be that this was faulty item and not a consistent problem on this product.

This review does not reflect on the seller. I am very happy with the service and speed of delivery. This kit is poorly made and over priced. You can get similar kits for £3. I thought as it was made by mishimoto it would be good quality. One of the straps/clips broke when I was installing it. Cable ties would do a better job and be stronger. Do yourself a favour and Google spal mounting bracket and strap kit. A far superior kit and a couple of quid cheaper.
