I’m 47, and have recently noticed that my skin is flakey in spots and starting to just look dull. So, I started researching on ways to get rid of the flakey skin, make my face look brighter, and make my makeup lay better. Exfoliation is the answer I kept getting. Now, usually, when I think about exfoliating, I think about a rough facial scrub that could possibly make my skin worse instead of better. After reading a ton of reviews, I decided to try this exfoliator. IM SO GLAD I DID! I just got this 5 days ago, and have used it 3 times already ( the instructions suggest using it 2-3 times a week, but I’m using it every other day.) The grit in this is so fine that it’s super gentle on my skin, and it doesn’t take much to do the job! It gets off all my little flakes and leaves my skin feeling baby butt soft! I do use Clinique’s moisture surge serum afterwards to help make sure I don’t get dried out. My face looks better, feels better, and helps my makeup look smoother. It is a smaller jar for the price, but I think it’s well worth it, and like I said before, a little goes a long way! I am extremely happy with the product and would suggest to anyone to give it a try!

I'm fairly new to using regular facial exfoliants. The few I've tried have given me good results, but I've found that they can be difficult to get from the jar to my skin. They're mostly granules in an oily or soapy base, and using them in the shower with wet fingers often results in a lot of the granules getting washed off before I can get the product onto my skin. DRMTLGY is much different. The base is creamy and not slippery, so it holds onto my skin better and lets me apply it without losing half of it down the drain. The granules are very fine and seem to do an excellent job of polishing off dead skin and debris without irritating my skin. I have some chemical sensitivities, but because the product is unscented, I don't have to worry about fragrance additives causing inflammation. DRMTLGY Microdermabrasion Facial Scrub is also about half the price of my previous favorite exfoliant scrub, which is a big plus.

This is almost the same as a major brand name microdermabrasion. It’s so gentle and a little goes a long way. My skin is softer and it’s not abrasive at all. I noticed my acne spots are clearing faster since I’m able to get the top layers off. Excellent product and I’ll definitely repurchase.

The scrub consists of just a couple minutes out of your day, and it opts the user to be comfortable with using up to 2-3 times a week if necessary. This is a scrub with micro particles that refresh your skin without harshness. I use it once or twice a week and my skins glows after it. It also contains moisturizers that other face scrubs don’t have. Try it, it’s amazing!

Works well with a very fine grit. Face always feels smooth after using. I use only once (max twice) per week and that seems to do the trick for me.

This is a great facial exfoliant. I wanted something that exfoliates well, but isn’t too abrasive, and doesn’t have fragrance or a bunch of toxic chemicals. I came across this one and decided to try it. I love it! It checks off all of the boxes and feels like it can be used quite often. It also doesn’t cause me skin irritation or breakouts which is a big deal.

i've tried microdermabrasion facial scrubs in the past, but this is a very nice exfoliator. leaves my face feeling smooth and fresh. i have noticed that pores appear smaller and just the overall health of the skin on my face is lovely.

I just recently finished this jar of exfoliating scrub cleanser. The main purpose I purchased this item was to help exfoliate dead skin cells that can clog up my pores and/or form milia, which I am prone to and I needed something to exfoliate without causing a reaction. This really helped a lot. I really liked how the consistency of the texture and how much I can really exfoliate without breaking or damaging the skin barrier of my face and it did not dry out my skin after each use. I have areas on my face that are very sensitive, so I react to a lot of exfoliate cleanser, but I have not once had a breakout or any side affect happen to me when I was using this exfoliating cleanser. It removed a lot of the dead skin cells, smoothed the texture of my skin from acne scars, minimize the amount of blackheads from forms and the size of my pores, while maintaining the moisture and hydration of the skin. Also, I love that you do not need to use a lot for the whole face as the product spreads very well, so this bottle has lasted me since last Oct 2024 . I also enjoyed that there isn't any scent to the cleanser, at least from my perspective. The few downsize I would say from this product is the packaging and how well the formula is, because I had to really wash my face well as I may sometimes find there would still be small amount of the exfoliation on my face and you do have to scoop out the product, but I did not mind it so much until I got to the last bit of the product and scraping it out was difficult.

Very fine exfoliating particles, effective but gentle. Doubles as a scrub and a mask. Leaves skin noticeably smoother and brighter. Works well for most skin types. A small amount covers a lot of surface area. Not ideal for extremely sensitive or compromised skin. Premium price point, though the performance backs it up.

If you have sensitive skin like mine, I would recommend starting slow with this exfoliant and gradually increasing the frequency based on how your skin reacts. Overall, I'm satisfied with the results and would continue to incorporate this exfoliant into my skincare routine.
