The Will last if...
I have beaten dented these poor plate to death, and put thousands of pounds of pressure on them and they still heat properly, so if you need heater plates for proper use, long term, these are the ones you want

Solar power application: Properly implemented, it's working well on 80VDC.
These are the same type of heat plates used in small space heaters, hair dryers, etc., and can run on AC or DC. I mounted this ceramic-aluminum jobbie between two heavy steel plates that act as a 10 pound heatsink. I distanced its wires apart from the heatsinks to provide some heat and strain relief. Powered by two 170W 45VDC PV solar panels wired in series, when under this load, generate 80 VDC and 2~3 amps. The element gets up to 275F if the PVs are under full sun, safely under its 400F/200C specification. As a clean, passively vented space heater for the winter, I like it. Has worked for 4 months so far, hope it holds up; if so, I'll scale it up, using spare PV panels.

High Quality Heating Element
The heating element went out on my coffee maker and I saw this on-line. This heater plate seemed to be made of high quality aluminum 110V 220C. Was able to confirm the size and it fits. Work wells and now my coffee maker is back to normal. This was easy to install. If you are unsure of how to connect you should consultant your electrician.
