This product has helped my husband's dry itchy beard. I also love the smell!

I am a beard guy...Had one for over 25 yrs and until now I have always struggled with a little itch and a little flake....This specific product is amazing. I had tried in the past to use other products and they never worked. The first time I used this product I actually used too much because it foams so much and cleanses very deep(I could have used a smaller amount with the same effect). I could actually tell as I washed my beard down to the skin, rinsed completely, then noticed a totally different feel to my hair and skin, a very clean revived feeling. I have read some reviews about other products for beards and they complain about the price. I was happy to pay this price because if it didn't work I was just going to return it, well no need for that! I will be re-ordering again and again because this stuff works...period! I have read that just a few people have had some issues with the dispenser, so I will tell you that to get it to open correctly there is a tiny little arrow on the top of the pump button that shows you which way to turn it to open the dispenser. After that you're home free! No more beard itch and no more beard flake. This product worked after my first use...not saying that will be the case for everyone, but for me after the very first use my itch and flake vanished. I waited a few days before using it again and during those days the flake and itch did not return. Another BIG plus for me is this is made in USA. Straight out of Brooklyn NY! This alone is enough reason to buy it even if you think you can find the same quality for less money...I have purchased many items on Amazon over the years and never left a review. I have left feedback but never a review like this one. I just had to take the time to tell anyone who would listen with a beard that if you want the best beard wash out there..Medicine Man's Itchy Beard Wash is the best....Peace!

Good product

I suffered from an itchy and flaky beard after moving to a drier environment and tried other beard washes and oil combos to no avail. Finally someone told me to give this a shot and boy am I glad I did.I use it every day with no sensitivity issues like some other people have reported, but I do not typically have skin irritation issues so maybe with people that have more sensitive skin, a daily routine may not be ideal. It looks like I recognize most of the ingredients so I dont know what would cause the irritation. I also leave it in for 30-45 seconds until it stops 'tingling' and that is the sweet spot that stops all itchiness and flakes. After that I follow up with a high quality beard oil to re nourish my beard because it does 'dry it out' just a little bit.The issue with the nozzle clogging is real, but I found a bottle that I just dump this into so I can dispense just the perfect amount and it doesnt clog, so while a pain, its not a huge deal.If you have an itchy, flaky beard, do not hesitate to give this product a try.

I had a bout of severe itchy, scaly beardruff that persisted for months and would even get to the point where it would bleed. Usually the only cure for this was to shave my beard off, which I hate doing. I bought this stuff after watching a YouTube video about it and it cured my skin almost instantly. It soothed and cooled my itch right away. The smell is good and has sort of a pine scent to it, blends perfectly with Honest Amish beard oil.Some tips for curing beard itch with this wash:1. Do NOT wash with this wash more than twice per week in a spread out number of days or it will irritate your skin severely and completely dry your beard out and cause chemical-like burns to your face2. Do not use any other products with this wash except for a MILD beard oil or it will leave your skin feeling greasy3. Do not leave on your beard for more than 30 seconds or it will severely irritate your skin4. Make sure you thoroughly rinse the wash out of your beard5. One pump is all it takesLove this stuff. I bought it 4 months ago and I still have half the bottle, it lasts a long time for such a small bottle.

So i have had some kind of facial hair since 1970. it has ranged from pornstar mustaches to Fu Manchu's to to goatee's to full beards. Most of the time it's been a full beard of varying lengths. At one point I set my two young children down on the sink counter and shaved everything off completely. They jumped down and ran screaming and crying! Nope! Not doing that again! A one time foray into a clean shaven face ended in disaster never to be repeated. Now as far as beard care is concerned I am your typical testosterone poisoned male. I was skeptical at first. It came in such a small bottle. I normally buy 5 gallon bucket'o'crap from COSTCO and don't go back until next year to shop (on our Anniversary, it's a thing!). I am here to tell you this stuff works like a champ. Furthermore a little dab will do ya! Buy It!

It lathers well, smells alright, but doesnt provide much in terms of moisturizing or conditioning past an hour or so after use. So, if you struggle with beard dryness and sensitive skin this only sort of works 🤷
