Excellent for connoisseurs!
Macerated meat with minimal fat content. Great and intense flavor and aroma. Absolutely perfect for party plates, toasts and sandwiches. For people who haven't had the info yet - the white on the surface is not bad mold, but the same coating as Chamember cheese. Not objectionable! Just peel before slicing.

Pick is the best Hungarian salami
Wherever you buy it Pick is the best, provided it's been stored properly since making. The price here is excessive, but we are willing to put up with it for special occasions as it's not readily found in the UK.The pork used to make it is from a special Hungarian breed of pig - Mangalica - which is rich in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids (polyunsaturated fatty acids) and in natural antioxidants. In recent times, this has been discovered by Spanish makers of the famous dry cured Jamon, many of whom have adopted this breed for that reason. There are other makes of Hungarian salami using this same breed of pig for the pork, but none taste as good as Pick.

Overpriced
Ok but not much better than the 600g salami you can buy in lidl for about £7. Delivery was quick though.

RANCID PRODUCT. Inedible. Arrived with the fat rendered out and natural mould rubbed off.
I know this salami well and what it should taste like. It must have been stored incorrectly, in a hot place as the the fat turned rancid and some of it rendered out of the salami as a consequence. Natural mould coating also damaged, which is an essential part of the product. Absolute waste of money (£15.95 highly overpriced), product was thrown away, totally inedible.
