When I originally used the grinding stone it was burning the edge of the tile but I realized that the grinder I was using was turning too fast. I put the stome on a tool with the proper rpm’s and it did a great job. Just be aware of the rpm rating on the tool you are going to use.

Have a lot of stains on my flag stone in the yard that I couldn’t get out with power washing, with this they grind out leaving a smooth surface (120 grid)

Was perfect for my project; needed to enlarge a 4 inch opening through a brick & block wall to accept a 6 inch exhaust and this did the job without damaging the brickwork. I added an extension used for core drilling to allow me to reach all the way through the wall.

Trying a lighter ceramic disc, this was good but a bit heavy for prolonged use

This wheel had more than 0.110 inch of "Total Indicated Runout", the threaded insert was not installed straight or centered properly. For my application it worked because this was a consumable wheel for truing and dressing a resin bond diamond wheel for a cylindrical grinder. This silicon carbide grinding wheel was mounted on the workhead spindle and rotated at 200RPM and successfully was able to dislodge grains from the diamond wheel. But a lot of this silicon carbide wheel needed to be ground away before the runout was eliminated.
