Would have liked them much better if they included lower case letters for practicing with
I learned a little bit of Biblical Greek some years ago, and thought these would be interesting to get. The cards seem well made as they are sturdy, not flimsy and the colors are nice and bold. The front of each card has each capital Greek letter. The back of each has detailed information, such as the letter name, transliteration, pronunciation and the lower case form of the letter.I don't like that they front of the cards only have the capitals, not the lower case letters. When I practiced Greek we learned both, not just capitals. I'm not sure why they didn't include both in the flash card part.I also would have liked it if they had explained what the two words that were on various cards, "Macron" and "Breve". In the paper chart that is included, there are various columns, showing each letter's "Uppercase, lowercase form, Greek Name, transliteration...etc. The words "breve" and "Macron" are found under the column "type". Type of what? I wish there was an explanation either on the backs of the cards or in the paper chart provided. I looked them up online and it seems that they are terms for whether the vowel is short or long. These are okay, but I would have really liked them if they included lower case letters to practice with (even if they were on separate cards instead of on the same card).

Don't pay more than $10. Has issues.
Main problem with these is that they're overpriced. There should really be double the number of cards with half having the majuscule letters (capitals) and the other half the miniscule letters (lower case).Note that you can download free Koine Greek lesson PDFs with alphabet charts and handwriting practice sheets, so flash cards aren't really that useful anyway.

These Greek Alphabet Flash Cards Will Give You a Good Handle on Greek Letters and Sounds
I can “decode” Koine Greek (the kind of ancient Greek that the New Testament was written in), but I’m constantly forgetting what I know (the “use it or lose it” syndrome). These flash cards help me to drive into my mind the distinction between a number of similar Greek letters and reminds me of the sounds that they represent. All that you need to know about the letters are included on the cards, which are made of a slippery, plastic coated material. One thing that puzzled me on these cards was that some of the letters were marked “Breve” and others “Macron.” I didn’t realize what that meant until I looked at the letters themselves. If you just think of “Breve” as those letters with “short” sounds and those marked “Macron” as those with “long” sounds, you’ll be right on. These cards tell you the names of the letters, how to pronounce the sounds they represent, how to write them out (stroke-wise) and more. The only criticism I might have is that there is only the capital form of the letter on one side of the card. I think that it would be helpful to have the lower-case form there as well. But again, it’s often more difficult to recognize the capital forms as they are used less often, so that’s not any issue with me at all.If you’re trying to learn Greek, you will either be making up your own alphabet flash cards or ordering these! I recommend these!

Nice way to get started with learning the Greek language.
In retirement, my husband has taken up learning new languages. He spends 1-2+ years on each language and always starts with mastering the alphabet.Greek was the next language on his list of interest, so I got these flash cards for him.We were/are very confused as to why the product is described a 'Biblical' Greek. It's the same Greek alphabet that pops up if you just google 'Greek' alphabet. The cards are nice and sturdy - laminated so they should hold up to repeated use. The print is bold and easily readable. It's nice that each card labels the order of the letter in the alphabet so one can learn in order (same as we master the ABC's as children).Providing the pronunciation with an English example is extremely valuable.Overall, a very nice affordable resource to get started learning a new language - suitable for children and adults.
