Not a five minute job but a detailed wellness tool to own
A quality professionally published and professionally bound wellness journal. There are inspiring quotes thrown in here and there and a few pages explaining the principles behind the wellness ideas used throughout such as gratitude journaling and mindful affirmations. It says ‘fit edition’ but the bulk of the content is still general wellness. The only thing that differs slightly to other journals I have seen is that there are specific questions week by week in regards to fitness goals and how you will motivate yourself. There are a lot of different sections to get through and fill in for yourself in the early parts of the book but once you’ve got the bulk of it, the idea becomes that you fill in the same sheets, a mixture of daily/weekly templates. It’s a good way to hold yourself accountable once you get into it but I will say ‘the five minute journal’ gives the impression of simplicity where the reality is the whole idea of this journal will take some commitment. It’s not a five minute job. That’s not a criticism but just something to be mindful of when deciding if it’s for you. To me ‘the five minute’ analogy undersells the whole self-care consideration because we all deserve more than five minutes to work on being the best version of ourselves. At the time of writing this journal was priced at almost £30 which I thought was extremely expensive in comparison to similar things I have come across in the wellness paradigm. Price is the only major negative though.

Keeps you honest
This worked well for me. I didn't want to get another app, I wanted something which didn't distract me with popups. This worked well to focus me

Fantastic Fitness Journal - totally giftable!
I absolutely love this fitness journal - I’m currently disabled so I can tell you now it’s not just about how far you can run or how many press ups you can do, though you can use it for that if you want! It’s more about all round health including mental health and mind fitness with a holistic focus, setting goals and reviewing them over the course of a period of three months. There is so much to do in this and each bit can take a quick five mins a day - from developing a morning and evening routine, to writing daily gratitudes and mindful affirmations- it’s really great band I’m so pleased I have been able to try this out. It’s easy to understand and very detailed. I have found it helps me keep on track and I do love the habit trackers too. Honestly, if this sounds appealing to you already, get this now! You will not regret it I’m positive !✔️

Useful wellness tool if you invest the time
I like the design of this journal as it is a smart understated green hardback with the title on without any unnecessary blurb or pictures. I was also impressed by the sustainability credentials for this book (no plastic, recyclable etc). I note that there are a range of five-minute journals available which I suspect overlap, but the Fit edition seems to have this particular emphasis on health and fitness. I did find the book a bit daunting initially with over 30 pages of introduction/instruction on how to use it, but including useful examples. I like the fact that there is a seven-day introductory period after which you review, as this gives a concrete and achievable first step, and a chanced to consider how it is working for you. The book contains many inspiration quotes and does explain the purpose behind the recommendations for use of the book (Some references are provided at the end). Although the reasoning is explained, it seemed a bit odd for me having the ‘gratitude’ exercise in the morning rather than at night as it seems likely that some things will relate to things that happened the previous day. The journal has pages to cover 4 months of use which seems a reasonable period to try this for initially. A key value of something like this is, I think, that whatever your good intentions are, writing it down means that you are more likely to do it – which is probably why I put off starting to use it! It requires an investment of time to get the most from it. However, several days in, I am getting into the routine. At a current cost I see of £28 for a 4 month journal it is not the cheapest option.

Overpriced but decent idea and quality
The Fitness Journal 2023 is a well-crafted and thoughtful journal designed to elevate overall well-being. It's more than just a fitness planner; it encompasses a holistic approach to health and happiness. The quality of the journal is impressive, with a natural fabric-bound cover and sustainable, eco-friendly materials. While the title suggests a fitness focus, it's more of a holistic well-being tool, covering both mental and physical health. The pages guide you through daily and weekly reflections, gratitude exercises, goal setting, and much more. It's an excellent aid for maintaining mindfulness and balance in life. The only drawback is the price; it's relatively expensive for a journal, which may deter some potential buyers. Additionally, it's designed for four months of use, and it would be even more beneficial if it covered a more extended period. Nonetheless, it's a valuable tool that encourages self-improvement and a focus on personal wellness. IF you can justify that price.

A great daily activity journal
💰 PRICE 💰 £28.40 at time of review 😃 The book is beautifully presented in a hardback cover and good quality paper inside. There are lots of activities to do daily, as well as trackers, affirmations and instructions to get the best out of you and using the journal. It's a lovely book to use and each activity only takes a few minutes, which is nothing to spend a bit of quality time on your mental health. I highly recommend.

Designed with positivity in mind
This is a lovely journal which would make a very thoughtful gift for somebody. The sheets are made from high quality paper which doesn't leak through when written on with ink. Designed with positivity in mind, it's filled with quotes and affirmations to help you get by day to day. This journal not only focuses on your physical wellbeing, but your mental wellbeing too. Overall, I'm very impressed with this journal and believe it is well worth the money.

I love the way that this book is set up! It’s very motivational and doable. I found I would use it more in the morning versus the evening, and I still felt like I got my bang for my buck.

Un cadeau chic et plein de douceur, pour une ado un peu morose . En plus, ça fait réfléchir en anglais !!! Mais c'est juste un peu cher…
