Great genuine Epson ribbon for my Epson LQ-400!
This ribbon is great value for money, and works perfectly in my Epson LQ-400 printer. Despite the name only showing a few models, this ribbon is compatible with a few other printers too.Great to see I can get there for a printer that is 30 years old!Attached a printer out I did using this ribbon.

excellent value
we only have one of these old printers in the company as it prints a certain type of label, so buying these from our supplier costa a fortune, OK, they last a bit longer than these, but for the low price we pay on Amaxon to get them, it still makes it cheaper to buy these ribbons. They work perfectly with our printer, no fuss, no mess and will continue to save ££££££'s buying these on here.

Ribbon for EpsonDot Matrix Printer
Print out is a little blotchywhen set to print at 'Letter Quality', but I suppose with regular use and as the ribbon feeds through the print will become less blotchy.

Yes it is needed.
This fits into a printer so that it works It supplies the ink that is applied to the paper. Otherwise the printer may perform its task but nothing will be visible on the paper. So it really is necessary.
