Ring Automotive RAC620 12V Analogue Compressor with LED Light

I bought this to replace a different budget compressor (from a different brand) which broke very quickly. So far I'm very impressed at what you get for the price. The real test will be the reliability in the long run, but I can't comment on this yet.It's a compact, well designed package. The air hose tucks into a compartment in the side, there are plastic clips and velcro to hold the power cable. The extra adapters (for footballs etc.) are also held by a clip on the back of the unit. All of this fits in the bag provided.Controls are easy to operate (even if wearing gloves) and the pressure gauge is easier to read than other budget models I've used.The white and red LEDs aren't all that bright, but to me the light function is an extra rather than something I would rely on.Overall, very impressed with the design and features for the money. I would recommend!

I bought this item after having a number or punctures, that didn't allow me to drive to a garage. It is very compact product and can be tucked away in a car boot without taking up much room. It is powered by the car lighter and after using it, I was able to inflate a half flat tyre in around 5 mins. This product will get you out of some tricky situations and so is now as valued as my car's jack and wheel bolt remover.

I bought this to keep in the boot of my car. It has proved very useful indeed. Works well and comes in a handy case. Nice and compact and works from the cars own electrical supply (also known as a cigarette lighter!). It may take a little longer than using a forecourt tyre inflater but it does the job and has rescued me and others on more than one occasion.

I have used this recently and was quite impressed: like other car compressors that I have used, it is relatively quick up to around 20psi and takes considerably longer up to and about 30psi. I timed it on a flatish tyre which was 11psi and it took about 4 minutes to get up to pressure. Obviously this is slower than taking it to the garage and paying to use their compressor, but much more convenient in that you don't have to travel to pump up a tyre. I used it on all 4 tyres and the job was done in under 15 minutes from beginning to end; the cable was more than adequate and it all packs away into a small carry bag. The compressor is small, so not immensely powerful, but it stores away in the boot, taking little space. You can run the lamp, which is handy in the dark and it appears to have a flash-on-flash-off setting, which would be useful as a warning, if you are on the side of the road. It is not cheap, but the price is comparable to others on the market and appears to be of good quality. Overall, I am impressed by the neatness of size and functionality, without being overawed by its performance but, in fairness, performance is as good as the last one I owned, which cost more. I am not disappointed in the purchase and think that it is good value for the price paid.

Neat, compact unit, supplied in protective case. The LED light is something of a token gesture, probably only useful if you've really got no other choice, it will get you out of trouble. Its fine for car tyre pressure, shame it can't quite deliver higher pressure for cycling.

Good little tool, value for money, stays in the 'oops' kit in my car.

Purchased this after I had a screw in one of my tyres and a friend had this machine. As soon as I arrived home I ordered this and have since used it. Reliability as you have instant air when you require it wherever you are as long as you have power from your battery. Would easily recommend this product as it is very easy to use and pack away in the case when finished.
