Does what it's supposed to at a bargain price
I bought one of these to replace an old single band 2.4Ghz access point I had been using in my home for a couple of years. I had recently upgraded my broadband to a 145Gbps FTTP service and as result in order to benefit from the faster speeds it was necessary to replace my access point with a dual band model capable of running at 5Ghz.First thing to note is the price, this access point is approximately half the price of any others I could find on Amazon or elsewhere, so having read the mixed reviews (and also knowing I could send it back) I ordered one.I have to say that if you do not have any knowledge of how to set an access point up then you will most likely struggle, however if you do have the required knowledge then you will find the interface is fairly self explanatory and you'll have it up and running in no time.As for performance it works as expected and after a few days of measuring network speeds I am very satisfied with this product. So I would recommend it if you have a bit of knowledge.

Virtually impossible to set up. NOT PLUG & PLAY!
Unless you are using this as an extra access point on an existing Tenda system, it requires so many changes to the IP addresses, both to your own computer and to the device itself, that it becomes so complex, even after watching the complicated youtube vids on how to do it, that I handed it over to my local tech expert. It took him an hour to figure it out and then it registers as an 'unsecured network' even on WPA2 with a password. Sending it back ASAP

Good signal coverage, teething issues
UPDATE:Since updating the firmware this seems to have settled and is working as you’d expect. Signal strength is great for my house, much better than my router. This was bought to replace an older ap that didn’t support separating 2.4 and 5, this does and has a higher throughput whilst being cheaper. the UI is easy to navigate and setup is simple. The poe is garbage requiring their specific unit to power it but that’s my fault for over looking it. the main issue which appears to be resolved now is it would drop internet connection requiring a full reset to get it working again, however since updating the firmware to the latest version that issue seems to have been resolved. It seems to be lacklustre for gaming if that’s what you’re planning, with ping spikes up to 2000ms seen in valorant, not sure why it’s doing this but that is with the computer in the same room. The 5ghz band has saved my streaming downstairs to the fire stick now being able to watch everything without any issue at 4k

Tenda ceiling Wifi Access point
It's looks small (the size of a dinner side plate), but looks are decivein. I tried it out with a 10ft Ethernet cable and it worked great on both bands 2.4GHz and 5GHz a covers all 4 corners of my house ( 4 bedroom bungalow). In my opinion, this WiFi access point is well worth the money and it was shipped to me very fast, 3 day's to Ireland 🇮🇪.

Cheap entry level AP.
Seemed to be everything you could want.... Up to 4 SSID 5ghz. Easy setup.... NO, and absolutely no support from Tenda, Amazon's answer is send it back, we'll refund. I had only bought 3 of them to test, (with intentions of buying 500+ of the units), but having all sorts of strange issues, WiFi strong, device connects very quick, speed test will not go over 99MBS, (supposed to do up to 1gb), I tested on confirmed 960mb line. Could get over speed, as only phones connecting wirelessly, but a lot of the devices lost connection for no reason, and only way to reconnect is to go to settings of each device, search for WiFi, (even though WiFi settings say it is connected to the WiFi), and reconnect to the WiFi, might stay connected for 24/36 hours or 2 hours... One other issue I had, they are Poe , which is the reason I looked at them in the first place, it seems they only work if you use a Tenda injector, I use ubiquity injectors, 24v ... Wouldn't drive the Tenda. As a garage or bedroom WiFi , just for phones or tablets, they are ok .. to use as advertised....nope. if they had a technical customer service help desk it might help.

Not for the not tech savvy
Plugging it it gives unsecured access to the internet. You have to put your computer on a fixed IP in order to access the management console and set up the security. Even then the instructions are a bit vague. Once you get past that it works well but took a bit of fiddling
