This stand is good and fulfils the basic promise - it is portable and can provide a laptop raiser stand in a coffee shop, a library or a remote workplaceThis review is for all such travel friendly foldable stands, the ones that have this overall design - The problem comes if you have a heavy laptop. Mine is a MSI GF65 thin gaming laptop (I use it for backend dev work), and the laptop is not well supported at the bottom. It slipped out a few times but luckily I was around to catch it on time.My other stand is a metal mesh stand with a hard bottom support (amazon basics) and there is no fear of laptop ever slipping out of the stand.If you also observe closely the picture of this stand, you will notice that it is supported at non-standard places - there is a continuous rubber base attached to the stand which can support the laptop somewhere in the middle. But it unfortunately holds my laptop on its air intake vents.The support is also entirely friction based, so if the angle is a bit too step, then the laptop can slide and slip. So it can probably work great for a macbook air with aluminium base, but not so well for plastic laptops with vents at the bottom.If you absolutely have no other choice but to get a travel friendly stand, this is a decent option.

The product feels premium. It comes with a small pouch so that you can carry it easily. Also comes with 1 year warranty which was a surprise to me. Overall if you're looking to buy a laptop/ book stand go for it.

Using it for more than a year. Gifted it to 2 of my friends too.
