decent looking gloves but tight fit
Purchased these as I wanted gloves that were comfortable and lasting. They are a snug fit - I ordered medium and they’re quite tight (I don’t have particularly large hands). They also look decent

Look good while getting your gardening on
I thought tweed is a rather odd choice for gardening gloves but can’t deny that they look much better than your average rubber gardening glove. I’ve used these for about two months, at first to repot indoor & greenhouse plants and in the last weeks moved into the garden when it’s not raining to get it ready for spring. While they are somewhat water resistant, water does eventually penetrate the material after prolonged exposure, which is to be expected considering they’re fabric and not rubber. Not enough to say that these gloves are sunny/dry/dewless gardening gloves only, as I will use them even if the ground is wet, but I do recognise that they are still quite new and the water resistance properties at their peak.I wear a size 10 motorcycle glove and the medium/large size of these were a good fit. Slightly snug at first but they broke in and conformed to the shape of my hands pretty quick. The palms/fingers are well padded with some soft imitation(?) leather. The padding is also a reasonable size to give you maximum comfort while still being able to feel what you are doing. Very comfortable and not too sweaty either. No complaints in that department. They do get dirty quite easily but that’s not exactly a surprise when gardening. Unsure how well they will hold up against repeated exposure to brambles and other thorny shrubs as the thorns can and do mark the gloves. But so far so good; they’re holding up well, no obvious deterioration of the material/stitching other than cosmetic, and nothing has spiked me yet.Does the job and I will most definitely be getting another pair after these wear out.

Lovely but do come up small!
I agree with other reviewers - these come up small. I ordered a size up which just about fitted, so borderline needed two sizes up. They look and feel good quality.

Quality, One Happy Pappy.
I still can’t believe that something so cheap could be such fantastic quality. Bought as a wee little present for my dad for Xmas. He continues to be absolutely thrilled with them. They looked far more expensive than they actually were. Not only do they look the part, they also keep your hands warm in winter! I’m very pleased with my purchase!

Not fit for purpose
These certainly look the part and fit very well but that is as far as it goes. As soon as you use them for thistles or anything remotely prickly, you will have no protection whatsoever. Even nettles find a way through and your fingers will get stung. The stitching is also of very poor quality - the finger seams tend to go very quickly. Such a shame.

Excellent gardening gloves
I love these gloves. They are robust enough for the rough work of gardening, but still allow for some sensitivity in the fingers. Other reviewers have commented that they come up small and I agree. I have a small to medium sized hand and these M/L sized gloves fit perfectly, but they need to be eased onto my hand because they are snug across the wide part of the palm as you pull them on. Perfactly comfortable once on, however, and I think it's something that will ease with use.

Disappointed - Sizing is questionable!
Excellent quality - pity about the fit!I ordered - or thought that I ordered Extra Large having read reviews that said these gloves tend to be small. Seems that Large and Extra Large are just one size and I was unable to get my hands into the gloves - got stuck in the cuff (see photo).By every measure that I could find my glove size would be a comfortable 9.5. SEE CHARTLarge or X Large gloves should measure 23 = 25 cm and the cuff needs to be wide enough for the hand to get into the glove in the first place!Whilst the label indicated that these were 9.5 - 10.5 the actual glove measurement is around 21 cm which corresponds to 'Medium' at best.

OK-ish!
Promptly delivered, look well-made - however:For a mens glove labelled as "L/XL", these are definitely on the small side. A tight struggle to get on - basically the leather-bound opening for the hand isn't extended far enough for easy access - once on, they're OK-ish, but no spare length in the fingers. We'll see how they wear - my wife has had a pair from the same company for a year, and found them good (which is why I picked these).Realistically, I'm confident I could have bought decent work gloves for half the price.Probably wouldn't buy them again.
