Q: What is the dimensions of this cover?

I have an ironing board with the dimensions of approx (minus the iron rest) 50 inches by 16 inches. The cover fits it perfectly. If board is that size or smaller then the cover should be fine. Hope this helps.

Q: It says its elastic yet some of the comments say its " Drawcord " which is it ?

It's elasticated all the way around, but has a draw cord at the pointy end I suppose so you can shape it snug around various types of boards. I would definitely recommend this one. It's a very good product. I've had it for a while now and am very happy with the quality and fit. :)

Yes you can put it straight onto your board but I seriously recommend the Minky Deluxe ironing felt pad to go underneath. The difference it will make to your ironing is huge and it makes the cover last long too.
