I've been using this stuff for a while now, and I'm loving it. I never liked the plastic strings and plastic containers that are par for the course with conventional floss. I tried another natural brand which was a high quality floss but far to thick for me. Some of my teeth have a fair gap between them, and some are so close that it's hard to get anything between them. This floss manages to fit all my teeth well, and does a lovely job in the process. The floss has just enough roughness and grip to do a nice job of cleaning. The stainless canister is working great, and I love knowing that I can purchase refills alone without a new container. Thanks for a great product.UPDATE: I've been using this floss for almost two years, and I still love it. The only issue I've had is that my teeth are growing even more crowded over time and are extremely close together in some places. I still find this floss works well between most of my teeth. BUT... if your teeth are so close that it takes great force to push the floss in, then be very careful and only use a FRESH piece of floss in that spot. My tightest gap is between two molars, and on multiple occasions I have pushed this floss between them only to have it break on the way back out, leaving a chunk of the floss fiber stuck between the teeth, which is then VERY difficult to get out (I keep a small amount of thin plastic-y floss on hand to fish out the fibers when this happens, and it's not easy). I notice this is more prone to happen when I've used that floss already for a moment and the bamboo fibers are already softening due to moisture and wear. It works much better if I use a fresh piece of floss in prime condition (ie floss the closest teeth first). Just my two cents, for those with really close molars. Overall, still a great product though.

I try my best to reduce waste when it comes to certain items so was looking for a reusable floss dispenser with easy refills and I am so glad I found this one. I only wish I had found this sooner. It looks beautiful too. The floss is perfect and this set up is actually very cost effective as well. So much better than constantly having to throw away floss dispensers that are single use. Even the compostable dispensers are terrible and fall apart prematurely. This one is great. I was debating the glass dispenser too but have a tendency to drop things in the bathroom a lot so opted for this durable metal option. So cool! Get one!!!

I made this switch to cut down on waste. I have found this product actually works better than the dental tape I was using to floss- even my dentist asked me about the product. I do use a slower motion when I floss with it and focus more on sort of running it against each tooth and deeper in the gums, which helps regarding breakage issues I had when I first started using the product. It also picks up tarter better than plastic floss, due to texture, according to my hygienist. I had gum recession badly and this, plus a different flossing technique, has actually improved it! I love the reusable container and compact refills. It costs a little more than buying regular floss, but it's worth it!

Tends to break but is a great alternative to mainstream floss.

I have a lot of dental issues. I build up tartar / plaque extremely quickly. I have tight teeth, including two spots with sharp edges that break floss even at the dentist's office. I have an implant that traps food under it. I have receding gums. I have sensitive teeth, including a front crown that's historically been painful to floss around. I've also had problems recently with stain accumulating between my teeth. So, for obvious reasons, I was hesitant to switch away from the floss I'd used for years, Glide. However, for environmental reasons, I decided to give this zero-waste, plastic-free floss a try. I'm very glad I did.This floss is better in every way. It's about the same thickness as Glide, but it's a little less waxy (though it's definitely not unwaxed). As a result, it does a great job of taking off both the tartar and the stains. It's comfortable between my tight teeth, even in the sensitive areas (much more so than Glide), and it almost never breaks or frays on the sharp edges where Glide broke literally every time. It cleans better in the looser spaces, too, such as under my implant. I usually had to floss 5-6 times in that area with Glide, and even then it sometimes missed things. With this floss, I only have to clean that area once or twice. On top of all that, it's gentler on my gums. I really don't know why, and I was skeptical of that claim when I saw it in other reviews, but somehow it is.As some other reviewers have mentioned, I find myself excited to floss now. I've been flossing for many years, but it was always a chore that I needed to complete, despite the mild pain and frustration it caused. Now, it's a pleasant experience that leaves my mouth feeling cleaner and healthier.On the environmental side, I love that there's no plastic anywhere in this. I feel good about that every time I look at the pretty container. I keep forgetting that it's compostable, so I keep tossing it in the trash and then digging it out again, but I'm sure I'll eventually adjust to that. Overall, this floss is perfect, and I'm now a lifelong convert!

I'm very happy with this dental floss and especially with the reusable stainless steel container. The stainless steel container works wonderfully with the floss. The floss is easy to pull and to cut exactly the amount desired. The floss works great. Sturdy. Doesn't break while I'm flossing as some floss does.I was tired of throwing away the little plastic, non-recyclable containers. Recently I read that many brands of floss contain PFA's (forever chemicals). That was the final straw in getting me to switch. I'm so pleased with my purchase I've bought a few more to give as gifts to others.
