Recieved it in mint condition, as it always should be. All buttons and knobs function as intended. Was ready to go out of the box. A note for those using older PC or laptop, make sure you get a usb c to a converter for the supplied usb c cable to work. A great piece of gear for practicing your dj skills at home. Begginers on a budget look no further, get this. If you practice on this, then you will be able to easily perform on real cdjs at clubs .

The Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 is an excellent controller for beginners and hobby DJs. It’s compact, lightweight, and super easy to set up. The layout is very intuitive, and the build quality feels solid for the price. What really stands out are the Smart Fader and Smart CFX features—they make transitions and effects smooth, even if you’re just starting out. It works seamlessly with both Rekordbox and Serato, and the Bluetooth option is great for quick practice or casual mixing. The jog wheels are responsive, the pads add plenty of creativity, and overall the sound quality is excellent. Perfect for learning at home, live streaming, or small parties. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable DJ controller!

Perfect for beginners

Best entry level controller. Better than the FLX2 and way cheaper than the Omins Duo.

Keys are little noisy

This is amazing! Beginners might need some time to get used to this but once you get a hang of this product, you'll be the DJ in all the parties. Haven't tried serato but it syncs perfectly with rekordbox. I use this with my iPad which I can connect with Bluetooth or keep it wired - plugging with external speakers and starting off was a breeze. The build quality is great. Would be even better if it came with a case by default.

I Bought the flx 4 towards end of October as a b-day present for myself. First impressions: The white color looks majestic, no issues with dirt on the controller as I keep it covered when not in use, and am a clean hands type of person 😉. Moving on, it is really lightweight; the interface with rekordbox is simple, as is the set up (I purchased edifier mr4 and audio technica mx20 headphones with it; check out my review on these items). Now, along to the fun part: mixing music. I had no experience with mixing music, knew very little, however, using the tools available through Professor YouTube, I am able to learn and sound somewhat decent when mixing, however, need to learn and practice different ways to transition. (THE SMART FADER AND SYNC BUTTON ARE A USEFUL TOOL, HOWEVER, LEARN TO MIX WITHOUT THEM). With that said, I highly recommend this product for beginner dj hobbyists. It familiarizes you with basic pioneer/alphatheta ecosystem, where you can hone your skills, feel comfortable mixing, and HAVE FUN.

Can’t rely on quality and legitimacy of product. First order came with heavily damaged packaging. Replacement product is damaged in itself (beyond use). First delivery had The box damaged from multiple places. I was asked to keep the original controller until I get a replacement. Received replacement today after almost 12days. The controller is damaged. Cannot plug cable to the controller. Beyond pissed right now. Returning both for a full refund this time. Should’ve done that in the first place. I’d rather purchase it outside.
