Good for usage

Works as expected. I have an old refrigerator which has thermostat issues. I plugged in the refrigerator to this device and enabled the Scheduler/Circulate to run for 15 mnts and off for 15mnts in loop and it works like a charm.

I recently purchased the Aziot 16A Smart Plug, hoping for reliable power monitoring and seamless smart home integration. Unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing. Even after initial setup, the app repeatedly prompts for geolocation permission, which raises serious privacy concerns. Why does a power-monitoring device need constant access to my location? The plug frequently disconnects and fails to consistently track power usage. Data either lags or doesn’t appear at all, making the core feature unreliable. For a device meant to provide energy insights, it falls short in both performance and transparency. Given the persistent geolocation requests and unstable connectivity, I can't recommend this product to privacy-conscious users or anyone needing accurate power monitoring. Smart home devices should enhance convenience without compromising personal data.

I've bought this as trial device before automating all my plugs. Here is some detail research I've done on this device: 1. It works well with Smart Life app (This device uses Tuya internally) 2. The device was easy to integrate with Home Assistant using both Tuya cloud as well as Tuya Local integration. 3. The device works well with Alexa & Google Home after linked from SmartLife app. 4. This device does have power monitoring feature as well 5. Device works even if internet is not available but you're using this with App connected to same Wi-Fi network. 6. The switching action is instant and I didn't observed any significant delays. FYI - Home Assistant is an advanced orchestrator that can work with many sensors and device and truly build a smart home rather than WiFi remote control and this devices are easy to integrate with Home Assistant! As all Aziot devices based on Tuya, you can reliably build an ecosystem for Home Assistant using their products.
