Q: What are the ingrediente?

Thank you for your question. The active ingredient in Triple Paste AF is miconazole nitrate. The inactive ingredients are white petrolatum, zinc oxide, corn starch, anhydrous lanolin, stearyl alcohol, beeswax, cholesterol, and polysorbate 80

Q: can it be used on the facial area?

Triple Paste AF can be used on the face, but is very thick and will create a white barrier on the skin - it will not be immediately absorbed.

Q: What is the difference between this and, say, Monistat? They are both miconazole 2%

The main difference between Triple Paste AF and most other OTC antifungal products containing miconazole nitrate is that Triple Paste AF has a water-repellent base. This base is formulated to prevent the miconazole nitrate from being easily removed by water and sweat, and helps keep the medication in place, where it is needed most. Please note - Triple Paste AF is for external use only.

I used it for the full two weeks. I was also under the care of an allergist/immunologist and underwent several tests. Have you seen either a dermatologist or allergist/immunologist to determine what type of rash you had and whether or not it was health related to something else your body was undergoing. You must remember that the cream is only a topical relief and not a cure all for your rash if it health related. The cream is excellent and helped quite a lot to alleviate the itch and dry skin in conjunction with the medication my doctor was prescribing. I hope this helps.
