lovely set but had probem getting 1kg weight out had to leaver it ut with grips and a whatch mackers screw drive. all due the tight fit of the dry hole used oil for the wood now sides in and out no probs might attack it with some fine paper to give it smoother movement

Coming up to 10 years since I purchased these weights to use on a new Weylux balance scale. Arrived in good condition and with just the occasional wipe with a damp microfibre cloth they still look as good as new. I have used some wax on the wooden container a few times and tightened up the screws on the handle once but that is about it for care and maintenance. No signs of rust or chipping of finish, no loosening of the top little knob for picking up the weights. I did check the weights on my digital kitchen scales when I received them and the read out matched the marked weight on all of them. (I still use a digital scale but only about 10% of the time.) Good selection of weights suitable for most home cooks and bakers.

Weights are in a wooden case. Very easy to see if one is missing. Grandchild is pleased as we know longer need to convert recipes.

Après calibration, chacune des masses calibrées de 5gr. à 1 kg. s'est vue précise à + / - 0,1 gr. En outre elles sont présentées dans un élégant et robuste coffret bois de bonne facture. Article à recommander.

Come si vede dalle foto i pesi, soprattutto quelli più grandi, non sono precisi; il peso da 500 gr ne pesa in realtà 493 e quello da 1000 gr ne pesa 1016. Uno scarto di 1 o 2gr può essere comprensibile ma 7 gr o addirittura 16 gr sono decisamente troppi! Ho contattato la ditta ma niente... aggiusterò lo scarto dei grammi in maniera casalinga, levigando di qua e aggiungendo di là, ma per il prezzo che costano mi sembra assurdo! Sono in attesa della bilancia della stessa ditta, ordinata insieme ai pesi ma non ancora arrivata. Speriamo bene.

Dopo attenta ricerca avevo necessità di acquistare l'intera gamma di pesi per una bilancia antica, da ripristinare. Il contenitore si abbina bene al top della mia cucina. Tutto ok.
