The belt helps
Exactly what I needed. Great for independent lift transfers to and from bed to commode chair. Strong build. Buckle helps to center body for an accurate placement in chair.

I love it!
I've used whole body slings, but this sling is Wonderful! It's far more comfortable getting me in my chair from bed and back again. And it's easily removed or inserted when I need it. No more uncomfortable fold, tuck and try to hide the old sling monstrosity when I go to Dr's office or out to eat! I was told I couldn't use this kind of sling, but being 81 I've outgrown having to taken advice as gospel anymore. So I tried it and I Love it. Their concerns were due to my rather large behind. However, I’ve have no problem slipping through or out of this sling. Also, you do need to be able to sit up unaided by pillow props.

Does the job
This sling will indeed work for toileting someone with a patient lift. My only cons are: 1)- it is tight/uncomfortable under the thighs; some kind of cushioning (e.g., folded towel) is suggested. 2)- you must be very careful to place the person's arms OUTSIDE of the sling-otherwise they could slip through. Overall, a good product.

Does what we needed
I purchased this sling for my elderly father. Dad is partially able to help me get this device on him. Dad is just over 200 pounds and it seems very strong and well made. We use this one for our toilet trips. The sling is easy to use as far as getting the patient in it. We have learned that he is best balanced for sitting by making the straps near the head on the shortest loop (blue) and the leg straps on the longest loop. We are finding that we need to pad the area under his arms since the weight on his body puts his shoulders under extreme stress. I use his folded undershirts for this. The material for the straps is quite rough on elderly skin so we place hand towels around the legs for comfort. We have other slings that work nicely if moving from chair to the bed. This one is the best we have for toilet trips.

Comfort
It's very uncomfortable if you have to use it for any amount of time it cuts into your legs I wouldn't buy it if I were you

It is what it is described on the product specifications..
It is what it is described at the product specifications.Good value compared to similar products. My uncle uses this medium size. He is 6 ft and 150 lbs.Made our work easier for transferring from bed to wheelchair to toilet bowl. This style is also good for transfer in and out of an SUV car.But challenging to use on a regular car sedan because sedan cars have smaller door entrances. But it is manageable.
