These shears are great for cutting chicken breast for chicken salad, not so much for the bone though. I wanted to like these, plus I needed another pair of kitchen shears…but they actually hurt my hand after a while. Looks more ergonomic than they really are. Maybe someone with really large hands can handle these better. I do not recommend these.

These are the best chicken (and other meats) I've used . Great for cracking bones !

The first time I used this to cut through a chicken backbone, I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it made work of the bones. Barely took any pressure/effort to cut through things - it was like using scissors to cut through cardboard.That said, the fact that the handles are made of smooth metal makes this a bit dangerous if you're aiming to not cut yourself or mistakenly stab others. I don't know why you wouldn't add some texture or rubber to make the grip more study and less slippery - particularly if the intended use is to cut slippery things.Additionally, the two blades are bolted together so, if you want to clean this thoroughly, you need tools to unscrew the bolt and separate the pieces. This is just dumb.Both the issues with this item are ones that should have been thought out in the design process.So, yeah. There are definitely better versions of this out there that account for how it will actually be used. That said, if you don't care about that stuff and just want to buy something and stop wasting time researching things on Amazon, these will cut through bone and do what you want em to.

I needed new ones. Can't be in my kitchen without a good pair if scissors. They are very sharp. Good price. Their performance is comfortable and sturdy.

I've been careful to dry them thoroughly after each use, but the rust seems to be a persistent problem.Despite the rusting issue, I still think these shears are a good value for the price. They've held up well otherwise, and I appreciate having them in my kitchen arsenal. If you don't mind keeping a close eye on them and taking extra care to prevent rusting, then these shears are a decent purchase.Overall, I would recommend this set of kitchen shears if you're looking for a sharp and efficient cutting tool. Just be aware of the rusting issue and take the necessary precautions to keep them in good condition.

Brought this for use in my kitchen. It’s not as sharp as scissors so it struggled to cut vacuum sealed packages of chicken open. Did well with cutting meats and vegetables. Less than 3 weeks after purchase it’s showing signs of rust.
