Works great but doesn't fit
This is a great product and a wonderful add-on for my pack. It is unfortunate that I missed how small my binoculars had to be in order to fit. If you have large optics you will want to buy something that will fit. The way in which this works is worth a 2nd set of eyes.

Should work well... I think
Pros:- Fits my compact Vortex Vanquish bino's pretty well.- connect to the little bear companion pack nicely, reducing the number of things I have to have strapped to myselfCons:- Glad I don't have a bigger set of binos, else I think it would be VERY tight.- lacks a set of bino straps to keep the binos connected to the case and to allow you to drop your binos if needed without having to re-case them. Many similar bino packs have these, so not sure why ALPS would have neglected that.- magnetic closure, while adequate, could be a little stronger.

Well made, if a bit small.
Surprisingly well made for the price. I cut the ends off the straps and reversed them through the buckles so that they could be cinched snug and the ends tuck back into the space in the back of the bag. It’s pretty small. I put a set of Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42s with lens covers in it and they just fit. I’m going to leave them in there for a while and see if it loosens up a bit. It works well with the Pathfinder pack. The only improvements I’d like to see are a bit more room and another set of straps so that the binos can be attached a la most other bino packs. I really like the magnetic closure. It’s quick, quiet and secure.

Buy it for the STRAPS!!!
This bino pack is way to small but for $13.00 I cut the straps off and sewed them onto my Vortex bino pack!!!

Reliable, just not very practical.
I used this all last deer season and overall I liked it, but there were a few problems that I think could have been discovered with more product testing. For one, if it is raining or otherwise wet out it has a tendency to trap moisture inside and caused my binoculars to fog a bit. This was only the case in REALLY rainy weather and frankly there is little that can keep this from happening no matter what so I don't totally blame the case. The straps are solid and hold well to the back, although it was difficult to adjust the height of the case and it sometimes felt like it was getting in the way a bit. I think this would be a great thing to use when you are hiking in to where you are going to use your binocs, but not very practical while actively hunting. Getting the optics out of the case quietly and quickly was difficult, which is never good while hunting.I don't regret buying it, but probably won't use it much for hunting, perhaps more for hiking.

Quick and quiet access.
I like this bino case a lot. It holds my binoculars and my cell phone for easy and quick access. The heavy duty closer magnets work very well and you don't have the velcro noise whenever you want to get something out.

Check the buckle compatibility with APLS fanny packs, not all have the same buckles even the same models
I own another set that I bought a few weeks ago from a store. I liked it so much I decided to get another set as gift for someone. Unfortunately it seems that ALPS uses different kind of buckles on each batch of Fanny packs. The fanny pack I got at the store is fully compatible with this ALPS accessories but the fanny pack I ordered with this Binocular packs had a different type and size buckles and this Bino pack would not attach to it. While this Bino pack had the same buckles as my other pack and would attach to the store bought Fanny Pack. So If you order the fanny packs and other accessories to attach to APLS fanny packs you may get incompatible buckles. Other wise this is well made pack. The Bino Pack gets 1 star because it is useless with out the fanny packs. The manufacturing guys at APLS get 0 star. If you look at the pictures you will be able to tell, they even look different, yet they are sold as compatible system and their video brags about it. What a mess.

On the upside the seems are so nice I didn’t even notice they were there
This is gonna sound weird but I had a hard time figuring out how to attach this to my little bear pack because the buckled on the little bear had been tucked behind the side pouches. On the upside the seems are so nice I didn’t even notice they were there. Once I cleared up my operator error this unit was a perfect addition to a great system
