Long time Amazon customer, first time posting a review. Have had the varidesk exec for about a month now and absolutely love it. My usage model- my home office has a bunch of very nice looking+spendy restoration hardware furniture in it. At one of our field offices one of my co-workers had a lifespan DTR 1200 treadmill with an adjustable desk and I fell in love with it. My question was can I add the treadmill to my existing home office without having to get one of the cheap looking adjustable height desks along with it. Turns out you can! First I checked my measurements and found that the DTR 1200 just fits under my restoration desk. Now enter the varidesk exec. With the varidesk exec fully extended the keyboard tray is plenty high enough on top of my desk even when I'm standing on the treadmill. I'm 5'11" and there's probably another 3" if vertical height available to type comfortably, even when I'm standing on the treadmill. Make sure you get the exec model and not the pro model as it's got longer arms / allows for greater height. Additionally it's rock solid. Doesn't move much at all when typing while walking. Also someone commented there isn't enough room for their keyboard and mouse. Mine has plenty of room... no issues there.Who knows how long the treadmill desk fad will last but I'm 100% in on it and the varidesk exec made it happen. Hope this helps any other knowledge workers out there considering making this investment in their health.

Heavy!!! but clearly well made.

I received the desk yesterday. The only problem that I had was the box was opened and the desk had a couple of scratches on it otherwise it has been an awesome product so far especially for me who is 6’7. This product would have got 5 stars if it wasn’t for the box being damaged.

The extra few inches for the taller version is very important. The desk is sturdy, easy to use. Absolutely zero assembly- slide in the keyboard tray and it’s ready to go.It’s very heavy (Hence the sturdiness) so make sure you do the 2-person-lift as recommended on the box.I have this stand-desk model at my office for the last 4 years AND finally bought one for home. Zero regrets

After I received my standing desk and put everything together, I noticed some cosmetic damage from shipping. Something else to note, Amazon's Technical Details say the desk weighs 50 lbs and it's definitely 80! The specifications need to match the details of the product when purchasing. I really don't want to ship this product back after assembling the monitor arms, putting everything together, and because of the product WEIGHT. I hope that the manufacturer reaches out. Other than that, it appears to be a well built product and is easy to use.

Sturdy, easy to adjust, a cinch to assemble (no assembly required!). I alternate between standing (daytime) and sitting (evening/nights).

I'm 6'3" and this comes to the perfect height. The placement of the holes for the levers is a bad design, but if it bothers you there's always the option of taking the tray off and moving it out so that it's only held on by 2 bolts.
