Great read
We have has little glimpses if Hugh through this series, always dropping in and out of the family events, he loved his family but he needed his next thrill. Until Sea of Love, when we started to see a different side of him. He wanted to spend more time with Dane. Now a few months on and Hugh meets Brianna.Brianna (Bree) and her daughter Layla are lovely. Bree is a kind caring and protective mother to little Layla everything she does is for that girl. She has so many walls around her heart I thought Hugh was never going to be able to break them down. She has not let a man at all.Hugh is like the rest of his family loyal, kind, caring and loving. He loves living life in the fast lane but watching all his siblings settle down he realises he’s a bit lonely. He wants that special someone in his life.I loved reading about these two and also having family members pop up a long the way. Great series and can not wait to read the next one.

Brilliant
Well Hugh fell lightening fast for a woman who he didn't see coming. Bree has more than herself to protect.

When the frog does turn into a prince
You can't help but fall in love with Hugh and Brianna, and even more with Layla. Hugh is a world class racing driver who is at a crossroads in his life. Brianna is a single mother of a 6 year old and on a 12 year plan not to get involved with anyone. When she meets Hugh she tries her hardest not to fall for him, but he gradually gets under her skin and she is a gonna. When her car breaks down Hugh offers to take her home, from then on their romance starts to simmer. When he babysits her daughter he knows there is no turning back. Layla loves Hugh and calls him her prince. I loved this story it made me laugh with the interaction with Brianna and Cat, and cry at the lengths Hugh with go to, to make Brianna feel wanted. Another good narration from BJ Harrison.

Brilliant
Have been loving reading the serious and Hugh story was just brilliant.Bree a single mother working all the time to support her daughter when she meets Hugh and that's when he life changes for the better. Hugh had a few problems as Bree has issues and took a while to get over it.

Once again, another Braden masterpiece!
Melissa Foster has done it again! These Braden brothers are all so different in character yet each of them is lovable in their own way. The deep feeling of family that runs through each book and the different aspects of the females coming into the Braden men's lives makes for wonderful stories. This book is about the youngest brother, Hugh, a racing car driver and previous player, who upon meeting Bree in a bar very quickly falls in love with her and her cute daughter Layla. As with each book, there are testing times ahead but family and an HEA will put a big smile on your face. Roll on the Remingtons!

Love at first sight
The minute Hugh Braden sets eyes on Brianna he falls head over heels in love and wants to get to know her better. Brianna has been badly hurt by the father of her daughter Layla and is scared to date him even though she feels the same. Her mother convinces her to give him a chance and a whirlwind romance ensues. These two are such a perfect romance and I loved every second of this book.

Hugh makes my heart race!
I adore Hugh and Brianna’s story! Hugh is definitely one of my favorite Bradens - sexy, protective, considerate and such a huge capacity to love. Brianna is inspiring as a courageous, hardworking and dedicated single Mom who totally deserves to be swept off her feet. Layla is just too cute and watching her relationship with Hugh develop made my heart smile! This book is enthralling, with so much love and just the right amount of sexy passion; plus the added bonus of catching up with the rest of the Weston Bradens 💕

One of the sweetest love stories I've ever read
Brianna Heart has been playing it safe for six years now, ever since she became a mother and realized that nothing in the world was more important than her child's happiness — not even her own. Between juggling jobs and raising her daughter Layla, she doesn't have time for dating, and she certainly doesn't want to introduce some guy to Layla just to have him leave when things don't work out.Hugh Braden has been living it up, capitalizing on his fame to live life his way, without commitments tethering him down. The last thing he's looking for is safe and stable, but when he meets a cautious but beautiful waitress, his carefree non-plan goes out the window. The Verdict: Today, the role of ysar is being played by the giant puddle of mush left after reading this book.Clearly, I read a lot of romance. Some of it's funny or sweet or sizzling hot, and occasionally I'll come across something that has me watching for the opportunity to grab a free copy of something else. But rarely do I dip into whatever money I've managed to put aside for overdue bills in order to buy everything I can get my hands on. I might have done that here, with this series. And it might (assuming “might” means “omg, absolutely!”) have been totally worth it.Hearts at Play is easily one of the sweetest love stories I've ever read, without once making me roll my eyes or think, “Well, of course it's sweet; it's obviously fiction.” Hugh is damned near perfect — without being utterly cheesy and overdone — and Brianna is so damned believable that she's got to be based on someone real. Perhaps it's because I grew up with a parent who tried so hard to date responsibly, without introducing me or my brother to anyone who might not stick around, that I so totally understood Bree. Whatever it was, I was beyond thrilled when Layla was mentioned, and I was completely sucked in and ultimately blown away by their story. Not only do I want my own Hugh, but I'm pretty sure I want my own Layla — because, damn, that kid's cute. What's really telling, though, is that I sat here and absorbed every bit of the end of the story. I'm not in a habit of skipping endings, mind you, but generally when a wedding is looming, I begin to mentally check out, skimming past the way-too-fluffy vows and so-romantic-I-want-to-puke ceremony. In fact, I'm usually cringing much earlier than that, when whatever silly antics masquerading as a proposal are foreshadowed. But I'm pretty sure I lived and breathed this one, and if I didn't know better, I'd say I might have even experienced something reminiscent of emotion — something I try to avoid at all costs unless it involves spoiling a dog or celebrating an unopened pack of cigarettes magically produced by my couch cushions. If this keeps up, I might actually start acting like a girl! The whole Love in Bloom series is just amazing, and if you've read my reviews so far, you know I'm ridiculously addicted. It goes without saying that anyone who loves a good love story should grab them all, but believe me, Hearts at Play is the one that will own you.

The Bradens
Last book in the series of the Bradens, once again a really nice storyline to it that keeps you interested and can follow all the family in all of the Braden books. Melissa Foster has written them with taste even in the sexy scenes. Very enjoyable to read.

Dislike it, hard to believe!
An easy, fast read, but too expensive for a short story, the characters and feelings of Hugh and Brianna are not enough developed, even the physical description difficult to find it out between the lines. He's a handsome race-car driver, she's lovely barmaid, and she has a cute 6 y.o. daughter. They just saw each other and it's love, too hard to believe that just seeing someone you can love him instantly and so deeply. And I really disliked that kind of weird love, that continuous spoiled oral sex, where it's the romance, the true tenderness in all this, the feelings that could be built during a relationship? Not a keeper for me, very disappointed, I already forget it, I regretted that I bought it and I don't think that I'll buy again from this author. Maybe you'll enjoy it if this is your style...
