There is nothing I dislike about this pen.I have a 7 year old Cocker Spaniel. After rupturing two disc in his back and leaving him paralyzed, 4 months apart at 2 years old we learned he has what is basically disk degeneration in people. He had surgery both times that resulted in 8 weeks of crate rest each time. Back then we had regular kennels and I'll tell you... I don't care how many doors are on those things - they are not easy to get a dog who can't walk in and out of. But we got through it.More recently Riley again hurt his back. This time it wasn't a full rupture, and didn't lead to paralyzation but did require some pretty heavy medications and another 6-8 weeks of inactivity. When it first started, he was in his crate and wouldn't come out. So I decided it was time to get something different for him. At about the same time, I decided I was done with dog beds. He needed something that was truly washable because when he can't walk, he also can't control his back end. So we grabbed him a couple crib mattresses, that would never fit in a crate and until this pen, wouldn't fit right in one of those either.I bought the 16 piece/32 inch one so I would have enough panels for both of Riley's sleeping areas, as well as two gates. One for each area.I used 8 pieces to set a pen up in our living area for him. It's set up square, and the crib mattress fits perfectly on the back side leaving room for his water bowl, food dish and a cpl cuddle toys he likes.I used 6 of the remaining pieces to create a pen for our bedroom. They fit perfectly on all 4 sides of the crib mattress in there, leaving no room around the mattress which is perfect for night time.I still have two pieces that I may or may not add to the current set up, but even if I don't - There will be times when we have it set up outside and the other two pieces will come in super handy then.So I love this thing.... I think everyone who has a dog should have one. It's sturdy and will outlast many dogs making it definitely worth the money. It shipped fast, and was delivered in perfect condition. It was easy to put together without assistance. I had both pens set up in less than 45 minutes.For real, it isn't often this super picky lady (especially when it comes to her pets) will say anything is perfect or that I can't find anything wrong with it. There's always something, right. WRONG! Any other time I would agree, but this product is truly perfect for any dog owners needs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was a little skeptical at first and anticipated maybe having to return the product as I’ve had negative experiences purchasing items like this from Amazon in the past. I was surprised at the quality and how easy it was to set up. I was able to configure it perfectly even with my odd available space. There are 2 gates so, I put them where I thought was best then decided to change it around and it was very easy to do. Since I’m waiting for my puppy to arrive, I had time to play with it and configure it multiple way. I love the flexibility and the light weight. I also thought it may be too light but the rubber feet secures in place even on a smooth hardwood floor. I have 3 cats and I caught one standing on the gate and thought she may knock it over as she jumped but it didn’t happen. She jumped off with some force and the product didn’t budge. Good design and sturdiness. I love it and well worth the cost and would purchase again.Foldability:Easy to take apart and stack neatly. Weight:Light weight for what it is but made well for security. Sturdiness:3 Sphynx cat tested. If you know the breed you know that they destroy everything.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really like how the pieces fit together with dowels. I am also pleased with the rubber stoppers on the bottom of every piece that touches the floor. This keeps the play yard from moving around and scratching my floor. Sturdiness:The metal dowels that slide into each metal section make the entire play yard very sturdy. Get ready, it's heavy but made of good quality material.Room size:I love the amount of room we have when it is all put together. You can remove sections if you prefer the play yard to be smaller which is a great feature. The height I got is kind of tall for my mini Aussie Sheppard but I'm not complaining. He doesn't try to climb out anyway and it may have been a bit of overkill on my part getting such a tall play yard but I'm really happy with the outcome.I highly recommend this play yard. I've bought others over the years and have never been happy enough to write a review. This one deserves it.

This is a really great quality product and easy to put together! This is a great addition to my puppy's indoor space so that she has more room to safely play. It also works outdoors and seems to hold up well in rain.
