Rainbow Eco Play Sand - 20kg Natural, Non-Toxic Sand for Kids - Sandpit, Building, Sensory Play

Who'd have thought play sand could be so expensive. I scoured price points and reviews to pick this one. The grade of sand is consistent throughout the bag and perfect for play sand (sandpit), it was clean as well. This is a good product and seems good value. The only slight let down was one bag split open along the top upon delivery, but the outer cardboard box was a snug fit and I don't think much of any sand escaped.

This bag was large enough to fill a little tikes turtle sand pit to a decent level, I think 2 bags would fill it. It is a very fine dry sand which does require watering for sand castle building. No issues with staining or allergic reactions from our toddlers.

I purchased this for bearded dragon substrate to mix with top soil. It is good quality sand. My package was a week or so late because of issues with DHL but customer services were really good and sent a replacement with DPD (the DHL one still hasn’t arrived sadly though!!). That said, this is not the fault of the company. The only thing is there was a small amount of rocks/pebble- like things, bits of plastic, and other small bits of debris mixed in with the sand. Easy to sieve out. That’s my only critique.

It’s sand. Texture is sandy. Child can identify it as sand.
