I knew SSK put out good products but they do fly under the radar as far as name reconition with so many other brands that are much larger, but make no mistake, this pssd is as high of quality in build and workmanship than any well known brand. As long as you have a 10gb/s usb port you will get top speed with this drive. I bought the 2tb version and it's really amazing that you can put that much data in a device this small.It's not a cheap metal look alike which is usually polycarbonate, but it's made of anodized aluminum and is really solid with just the right weight to it. It certainly doesn't feel cheap!You can't miss with this pssd and as a side note, you can put this drive on a key ring and put it in your pocket if you wish.I very much recommend it!

Using for PS4 "extended drive" external SSD... Installed like it came with the PS4. All power comes directly from the same USB data connection. Came with two short but quality USB cords (USB-a to USM-C and USB-C to USB-C). The shell case is smaller than excepted (I measured size to be ~2.7"x1.5"x0.5") and lighter than expected yet the outer shell case seems tough enough to withstand throw in and go travel (although I don't need that feature for my PS4 extended drive). I would suspect the case strength to be somewhere between a heavy aluminum SSD case and a strong thumb drive case. SO far, I am 5 of 5 star happy with this device but only time will tell. I will write an update if the unit starts acting up.

This SSD is super compact- easily fit in the palm of my hand and slips onto my pocket without even noticing it's there. The speed is amazing. Transfers are really fat whether I'm backing up large files or running apps directly from it.What really impressed me is how tough it is. I 'have accidentally dropped it few times and it still works like new-no data loss or corrupted. Really portable and easy to used with the type-c connection. I recommended getting the 2TB is the best GB/$

Seems to be well made and the aluminum housing dissipates heat well (it does get hot will beeping hammered). I have seen transfer speeds as advertised but these are true peaks. The average I see is between 689 and 850 MBs transfer speeds. Still ag good fast tiny device.

I bought this to increase storage on my PS5. Stupidly I didn’t realize you can’t actually PLAY games off of external storage, and Sony actually allows you to install a second internal SSD (which I would’ve bought instead of this had I done my research).That being said: it works as backup storage. I plugged it into my PS5 with the usb c to usb a cable included (nice touch to include 2 types of cables). My PS5 formatted it and I was able to move older games to it without issue. Took a while to move 500gb (90+ mins) over, unsure if it was the console or SSD that was slow to write the data.The drive is small, I knew it wouldn’t be huge, but I didn’t realize how small it would be. Fits in the palm of your hand. Smaller than a credit card, but thicker. Which is nice because I can just leave it plugged in to the console and not worry about it dangling. Or later can use it as portable storage for my laptop.I don’t have much criticism, it was pretty fairly priced, though I haven’t seen the speed performance yet it advertises. Maybe with a laptop it would work faster.

I've used two of these drives so far and they have held up. I have trouble trusting a non brand name ssd but these have proved me wrong. Whenever I need to send footage to a client I use these drives. Right now they are the best bang for your buck at this size and the design is very profesional. As always don't rely on any hard drive without a secondary backup somewhere. These are super small, about half the size I expected of them.

There is noticeable heat when the drive has been used even for a few minutes, but nothing to worry about.
