Really nice sounding speakers that actually hit but you need a solid amp to power them. The head unit itself won't do these speakers justice.

THESE SPEAKERS WERE A NOTICEABLE IMPROVEMENT IN CLARITY AND HIGHS BUT THEY DO LACK A BIT OF BASS OUTPUT. THE RESPONSE IS THERE BUT THE BASS OUTPUT IS A BIT LACKING. I NOTICED THIS EVEN WITH THE KENWOOD KFC 1696PS THAT THEY REPLACED.

Very crisp highs that overpower rest of sounds. Great definition in the high range. Does not do low end of mids or kick drum well at all. Hard to tell where they crossover. Connected to DMX1057XR and the EQ from mid to sub ranges don't respond well. Better sounding than the paper whizzers they replaced but will need to get more speakers for low-mid, kick and sub for bass and to balance out the crazy loud highs.

Installed in 2000 Wrangler TJ sound bar. Beside to order 1/2” spacers and some speaker insulation. Sounds is great with great bass. (Be sure you have an amp or bass will be lacking). I had top end 5.25 JLs and these for sure are are an upgrade.
