Light weight perfect wrench
A must have pipe wrench. Hold up great. Grabs pipes like a champ. Strong an light weight. Ridge is the way to go for pipe wrenches. Teeth are sharp an are still sharp after years of use. Trustworthy and durable. Would highly recommend. Its nice not to have to pack around a heavy iron pipe wrench. An have put it to the test wrenching on old rusted pipes. Well built wrench. I'm happy with purchasing this wrench well worth the money spent on it.Product features The RIDGID® 18-inch aluminum pipe wrench is designed almost any type of pipe work a professional or DIY homeowner has to do. It's made from aluminum and weighs only 3.75 pounds, which means it is approximately 40 percent lighter than 18-inch cast-iron wrenches, which reduces fatigue from using it for a long time. Its average 18-inch length makes it possible to store the wrench easily in most common-sized tool boxes as well. This aluminum straight pipe wrench can be used on any pipe with a capacity of up to 2.5 inches. It's compatible with special heel jaws and hooks, which allow it to work with softer plastic-coated pipes. Since it's made from aluminum this wrench is immune to rust and many other types of corrosion.Additional FeaturesRidgid aluminum pipe wrench helps loosen or secure pipe nutsMade from aluminum and weighs 40% less than cast-iron counterpartsAluminum straight pipe wrench fits in most tool boxesMaximum pipe capacity of 2.5 inchesRidgid 18-inch pipe wrench is compatible with hooks and heel jaws designed for use with plastic-coated pipeAluminum construction is resistant to corrosion and immune to rustLifetime warranty, Made in the USA

It works!
Wow! I had heard about Ridgid tools for a long time; this was my first experience with a Ridgid pipe wrench - why did I wait so long?? The aluminum is so much lighter than the steel, yet it still is strongly made. No one has to be concerned that the wrench won't be strong enough to do the job. Quality is exceptional - there are no clunky or stuck parts in any of the pieces. Worth every penny to have this wrench for use. Thank you, Ridgid, for making such an excellent wrench!

Best pipe wrench on the market.
I’ve use pipe wrenches almost daily in my trade. (Pipefitter) these are one of those tools you don’t want to cheap out on. A Ridgid pipe wrench will last a lifetime.

Best wrench hands down
I bought this as i had run out of options to remove a broken cylinder from a humanscale chair. I tried taping it for traction and had used a bunch of various Knipex wrenches, etc but they all kept losing grip and spinning on the cylinder. I bought this bad boy, torqued it up and the teeth really bit into the solid steel cylinder and spun it out of the housing (not without it's challenge though, the thing was VERY jammed into the body of the chair supports). This is the best wrench I've ever used, EVER.
