Q: I just got one of these and really like it, but the clock display turns off after 15 minutes. How do I stop it doing this?

I have just tried 2 of these to replace a very old and reliable Salter. Unfortunately both exhibit the same design fault that the clock turns off after 15 minutes which it seems is a new, much less than helpful feature . The first one went back as I assumed it was a fault ( Which Brannan confirmed on the telephone) but the 2nd one does the same thing and I now see it is described in the instructions.

Q: How do you set the clock, great timer but forgot how to change the time.

Hold the clock button down until it goes in to set mode, then use the H, M, & S buttons to advance the time digits. Press Time when done. I am replying from memory so hope it works. Richard Canon

I had to look up when I purchased this item, it was in 2016. The button function, particularly how hard you have to press them to make them work hasn't changed since I bought it, its still very easy, and requires only gentle pressure to activate all the buttons, in dramatic contrast to the timer it replaced (which was a Salter, with light up buttons), where the buttons all failed after a year!!
